Sullivan explains the ring is actually the Gluttonous Feeder Ring that eats magic power, then pacifies it by feeding it some of his power. Iruma's rank is undetermined and by default receives the lowest rank, Alef. Meanwhile his taming of the guardian and his ring attacking his classmates increases his fame yet again.
