Chapter : 2

Luna wore her usual outfit for the office as she went to her company .

Like everyday she had paper works and documents to do on behalf of the manager since he's on leave .

Luna was like any other normal women who has confidence in what she does and strong willed although a little scared of Ryan ever since yesterday but unique in her own way...

Luna was at her seat when , Raven came and drop a bunch of documents on the table ...

Startled Luna looked at Raven with a confused look and said , " And what is this mam ? "

" Work ." Raven said as a sly grin appeared on her plastic face

Luna hold back her anger as she calmly said , " Mam my work has been done yesterday an completed too , so I don't think that I should be doing this because I have other works to be completed too ."

" Are you ordering me ?! " Raven shouted suddenly

" But you are an employee too and giving your work to others isn't right mam. " Luna calmly sat at her chair as she said calmly

" Who are you to tell me what to do or not ?! " Raven shouted as she raised her hand on Luna

Luna stood up and held Raven's hand with a calm look , everyone were looking at both if them ....

Raven suddenly slapped her self and fell down , Luna was a little confuse and finally realise that her CEO was there , Mr. Haider Fields ... sadly the poor man was sued by Raven for r*pe when he was drunk and has to marry her....

" Ms . Luna what are you doing ?" Haider shouted making everyone flinch

" Baby... she slap me " Raven cried holding her cheek

" Well sir I have my self respect too , Ms . Raven ask me to do her work and more over she raised her hand on me ... I had to defend myself ..." Luna explained

" What proof do you have against me ? " Raven sobbed

" Ms. Luna you shouldn't have raised your hand on her ..." Haider knew it was Raven's fault yet defend her

Luna knew she shouldn't argue more because Haider tone was full of warning and threat so she didn't talk more and stood still listening to all the rubbish he talked about her ...

" Ms. Luna you are going to work overtime today and if you disobey me , your job is gone ." Haider said and carried Raven away , but Raven smiled mockingly at Luna before leaving ...

Luna had to concealed her anger inside and sit on her desk working again ...

The other workers started gosipping as always .

Luna was already tired of working non stop and was almost finishing her document when Haider came and shot Luna a cold glance ...

" Luna , unfortunately our manager has pass away a while ago because of his sickness ..."

Luna was shocked , Haider continued " And since you have been working in his place since long you are going to be the new finance manager ..."

" T-Thank you sir ..." Luna said hesitantly

" And .... sorry for what happen in the morning , I lost it and I shouldn't have behave that way ..." Haider said looking away

Luna was a little shook by his words since Haider never behave that way to Luna ...

" Sir it's fine , I shouldn't have talked that way to Ms Raven too ..." Luna stood up as she bow

" Hmm... Continue your work . " Haider said as he left

After one more hour of working , Luna left the office and saw many employees outside and the reason was because there was heavy rainfall ...

" Its April and rainfall already started , great now how am I suppose to go home-" Luna realise something

" Oh goodness , Ryan he will kill me if he think I ran away .... Mom please save me , I am coming to you very soon...." Luna prayed in her heart

" Luna..... You're here too ?" Raven said as she walked smirking

" Ms . Raven ...."

" How can someone so poor as you can be in this company , I wonder why hasn't Haider kick you yet ." Raven said

" Well maybe that's because I am the Finance manager now ..." Luna said as she smile forcefully

" What?!"

" Ohh, I just got a promotion Ms . Raven . " Luna said

" * scoffs * So what ? I am the president's fiancè and what are you a poor girl with just a little " Raven laughed at Luna

Luna knew arguing with Raven was more like inviting a dog to chase herself ...so she ignored it and waited for the rain to wait

Raven when to the employees as she bragged about Haider as always , since Haider left for a meeting an hour ago ...

Suddenly a line of black cars stop in front of the company and a man came out and walk inside smiling

" Mam I am Alex Norwood boss's assistant , sir is waiting for you ..." the man said

" Oh , my baby came to pick me up such a cutie pie ..." Raven said proudly

" I am really feeling jealous of Ms . Raven now ..."

" Such a caring fiancè ..."

And the employees keep gossiping as Raven went towards the car walking seductively ...

" Miss Luna please hurry ..." The man said as he looked at Luna who was on her mobile at the corner

Raven froze at the spot as she turn back and Luna looked confuse as she tilt her head and point at herself ...

Suddenly the car opening , revealing handsome Ryan with his strong and cold aura surrounding him and his green eyes fixed on Luna as he sigh , Luna eyes widen as she covered her face and snuck away ...

The employees were in a shock as well as Raven , that Ryan Sullivan the business tycoon and the top international business man was standing among them ....

" Are you coming here or should I come there ?" Ryan's cold voice send chills to everyone's spine

Luna was feeling as if she was going to be dead soon a as she smiled pitfuly and nodded and walked towards Ryan

Luna covered her face with her backpack and walked slowly , Ryan frown as he grab Luna's hand and pulled her with him inside the car...

And in an instant all the cars were gone , everyone heaved a sigh of relief as they witness everything ...

Meanwhile in the car , Luna kept a distance from Ryan as she looked away ....

" Why are you still covering your face ?" Ryan asked as he looked at Luna

Luna kept the backpack down and looked towards the window ...

" Why were you late today ?" Ryan asked

" It was raining heavily..." Luna replied

Ryan grab Luna's chin although not gently but not tightly either and made her face him as his green eyes looked deep into her eyes , when he realise her face was red ....

" When I am talking to you , you should look at me ... Understood? "

Luna nodded as she looked at him slowly , " You shouldn't have come ...."

" Is there a restriction that I shouldn't be coming ?" Ryan asked

" No.. but you shouldn't have , rumours will be spread unnecessarily and I'll have a hard time at office..." Luna replied as she talked casually ...

" That's the reason I married you , we're legally married and you're my wife ." Ryan said

" So that's the reason and I thought that I was going to die , such a stupid mind I have ..." Luna thought as she chuckles

Luna looked at Ryan realising his expression a little calm and his eyes were a little different as the grip on her chin became gentle , they were staring at each other looking as if they were reading each other's eyes when the car hit the brake ....

Both snapped out as they turn to opposite sides ,

" What was that ? My heart ..." Luna thought as she held her chest

" Why am I acting this why , how could I let my guard down ? " Ryan held his chest as his expression were like it was earlier ....

The mansion was in an isolated large piece of land so it took time to reach home....

Luna was already snoring and her resting her head on the seat , Ryan turn to looked at snoring Luna as he slowly reach his hand to touch her face as he looked at her curiously ....

And his cold hand finally touched her face , It looked like a child touching a cat for the first time, it is irritating and annoying when awake but like a cotton ball , calm and peaceful when asleep...

Ryan only touch her cheek and draw back his hand and sat in his serious position as he looked at the dark and gloomy sky as he frown again ...
