Hi!! I'm Isabella Garcia. I'm currently studying engineering at Ateneo De Manila University.

Nicolás Fredrick was my best friend... No—scratch that. He used to be my best friend. I liked him... I wanted him to be my life partner. But... everything changed.

"Isabella, we are inseparable!"

"Isabella, you're my best friend!"

"Isabella, I can't forget you."

"Isabella, don't leave me—please!"

"Can't you love me the way I love you?"

"Don't you feel my love?"

"Why do you want to leave me?"

"Why don't you love me back?!"

"Why did you talk to him?"

"You know I hate that guy—so why did you speak to him?!"

"Leave me, Nicolás...!"

"I don't want to stay with you!"

"You ruined everything... My family, my peace—everything!"

"Isabella, will you marry me...?"

"What did you do with her?!"

"One day, you'll be mine."

"You're only mine, Isabella."

Suddenly, my phone started ringing. I woke up, breathing heavily.

"Again... that same dream. When will he finally leave me alone...? I hate him—from the very core of my heart!"

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I started crying.

"I hate him... I really do."

I searched for water, grabbed the bottle from the table, and drank it. Then I glanced at the clock.

It was already 8:00 AM.

Today, I had to attend an important lecture by Professor Alejandro Hernández at 10:00 AM. And I was already running late.

I rushed to the kitchen—but there was nothing to eat.

"I forgot to bring the pasta... Now what am I going to eat? Okay, I’ll think about that later. I should get freshened up first."

I went to the washroom, took a quick shower, and came back to the kitchen. There was only one egg and two slices of bread.

Sigh "I guess this will have to do for now."

After eating, I grabbed my keys, locked the door, and left for college.

Let me introduce myself properly.

I'm Isabella Garcia, 23 years old. I currently live in Spain—my father sent me here for my studies. Originally, I’m from Canada.

My life... I used to be a cheerful girl. But everything changed because of him. I hate him more than anything. Sometimes I curse my luck for ever meeting him. He won’t leave me alone—he’s like a curse that keeps haunting my life. He destroyed my family... my peace... my everything.

Let’s not talk about that now.

I opened the car door, got in, and started driving. That dream kept replaying in my head. I still remembered every word he said... every moment.

After 30 minutes, I finally reached my university. There, I saw Matías waiting for me. He’s a really nice guy—I’ve known him for two years. I smiled and walked over to him.

"Sorry I’m late... I think the professor has already started his lecture."

Matías: "Not yet! Today, he’s the one who’s late—not you." He laughs. "Go grab your seat. I’ll join you after talking to Diego. I was waiting for you, but Diego already came by three times asking me to come with them. You know how they are."

"It’s fine." I smile. "Go and have fun—I’ll join you later. And hey, don’t drink too much, okay?"

Matías: "Okay, okay. I won’t drink much. You enjoy your class, and let me enjoy with them. I’ll wait for you there later."

He suddenly placed a soft kiss on my cheek and went off with his friends.
