Ep. 4

The soldiers then carried the orders throughout the whole area with it's last man. Then, 57,000 men gathered outside the Merindian Great Hall, being surrounded by over a hundred thousand Demons. Still, with the knowledge that they have no chance of winning, Barion insists to fight. The Demons charged towards them. Slaughtering all of the warriors. The civilians inside the Great Hall was also killed. The demons destroyed the hall, rampaged across the remains of people they slaughtered. Leaving blood stains all over the area.

Rampaging Demons destroyed the walls of the hall, took down the pillars, then bombed the ceiling.

To the present;

"Cheif Dallahan! We're here!" Huegyen shouted.

"Oh! There you are! Henetia is inside the house!" Shouted the Cheif.

They drove to their house. Huegyen brought Ray down the carriage and parked it at their farm.

"Hello Mother!" Said Ray.

"So, how's school? What's your lesson?" Replied Henetia.

"Our lesson is about the Age of Decay Mother!"

Henetia was stunned. Tears fell down from her eyes.

"What's wrong Mother? Did anything happen?" Ray said then hugged her.

Henetia wiped off her tears then replied, "Nothing's wrong dear Ray. Something just came up my mind."

"What is it?" Said Ray.

The door opened. It was Huegyen.

"Your mother is already tired Ray. Don't push questions." Said Huegyen

"W-well okay. Mother, whatever thing is bugging your mind, you'll be okay." Ray said sadly.

"Thanks." Said Henetia.

Huegyen sat near Henetia then quietly told her;

"You already risked it. You're close on telling him about what really happened back then. Back when the Age of Decay ended."

"Thank you Huegyen. For stopping me."

Replied Henetia.

"The secret must stay secret until he grows old enough. He's already 18 next month. We'll tell him about it next month." Said Huegyen.

"Okay." Replied Henetia.

3 days after..

Ray cultivated his powers inside the Old Great Hall. With the spiritual energy surrounding him, his cultivation and power growth will increase.

"Haneera: Cultivating is needed to increase one's strength. Increasing power means increasing your rank. Those ranks define your total power. The ranks are Pawn, the basic rank, this rank has 3 stages; Low Pawn is equal to 100-200 Power, Soldier Pawn, 201-300 Power, and High Pawn's power amount is 301-400. Once you advance from Pawn rank, you will enter the Knight Rank. With Knight Rank, you can unlock two sets of magic power like the combination of Fire-Water, Light-Dark. But you need to practice it so that your body can handle the amount of power. Knight Rank is divided into 4 stages and they are; Low Knight that possesses 401-500 Power, Guard Knight that has 501-600 Power, Royal Knight that has 601-700 Power, and lastly, those who has 701-800 Power is treated as a Holy Knight Rank. I myself am a Holy Knight because my Power amount is at 787. Once you surpass all of the 4 divisions of the Knight Rank, you will be entering General Rank. General Rank is only divided by two divisions but don't think it'll be easy. Under General requires you to have 801-1300 Power amount! Above General requires 1301-1800 Power amount! General rank allows you to master two more magic powers and maybe unlock another sector of magic! Pane: I want to be General Rank haha.

Haneera: Next is Lord rank. Those who have acquired this rank are people that can be nominated to govern a village. Also, Lord ranks have high chance on succeeding in creating spells. Lord rank is divided into two divisions; City Lord having 1900-2900, and War Lord having 3000-4000. The highest rank is King Rank. With this rank, you can do anything you want! The only one that reached King rank in Halderan City is our Elder Lizier. 5000-8000 Power Amount is required to enter King rank. Also, you need to be at least 20 years old to breakthrough the 5000 Power amount."

To the Present;

"Whew. That cultivation really helped me. From 5 Power, I already reached 103!" Said Ray.

He was very happy that he broke through. Then, his uncle Huegyen came near him then said;

" Your cultivation is very slow Ray. Three days and you just entered Pawn rank?"

"Why Uncle Huegyen? Compared to my friends, I'm the fastest" Ray replied to Huegyen.

"Hah. You really don't know anything don't you Ray?" Huegyen said laughing.

"Huh?" Ray was confused.

"Let me tell you. Your mother may look normal but no. Back when your mother was at your age, she cultivated for three days and reached Guard Knight Rank!" Huegyen said then he laughed and laughed.

"Really Uncle?" Said Ray.

"Yes! And still, with that cultivating speed, she still is the third slowest in our class!" Replied Huegyen.

Ray was amazed. He didn't think that her mother was that strong. So he began asking Huegyen.

"If mother was the third slowest, what's your place Uncle Huegyen?" Asked Ray.

"Fifth fastest." Replied Huegyen.

Ray's jaw dropped. With the speed of her mother's cultivation speed being third slowest, how fast can his uncle cultivate?

"How fast Uncle Huegyen?" Ray asked.

"When I am your age, don't tell this to anybody. But when I am at your age, I was already at War Lord rank."

"WHAAAT!?" Ray was shocked.

"No no. You're kidding me Uncle. That's impossible!" Ray said

"Hah. You're too amazed. Let me show you." Huegyen replied.

Huegyen drew runes on the air surrounding them and they teleported far away the Halderan Territory.

"What happened?!? Where did you bring me uncle?" Ray said while panicking.

"Calm down Ray. I want to show you that I am not lying." Said Huegyen.

Huegyen pointed at a huge mountain that is infront of them.

"NOW!" Huegyen shouted.

A beam of light bursted out of his fingers and targeted the mountain. Ray's mind was blown on what he saw on that day. They teleported back home.

"We're here Henetia!" Huegyen shouted.

"Hello Huegyen! Where's Ray?" Said Henetia.

"Here." Huegyen replied.

"Hi dea-" Henetia looked at Ray. Ray looked. Pale.

"Huegyen, what have you done?" Henetia asked Huegyen.

"Nothing really. I just told him that our cultivation is faster than his. He didn't believed it at first so I showed him that I'm not lying." Said Huegyen.

"YOU!" Henetia shouted. She was clearly angry.

Later that day..

"Elder Lien, I just received a news from the scouts in Heronayn Mountains." A soldier said.

"What is it?" Lien said.

"Just this afternoon, an unknown entity attacked the mountains."

"And?" Lien asked.

"They said that the mountain was completely wiped out. No mountain shards were left." The soldier said.

"What?!" Said Lien.
