Today Jess was behaving differently. She never skips her breakfast and she also dozed of in the class.

After our classes I saw Jess got out first. I was about to go when mom called me, she told me that Amelia will be waiting outside school. As I got out I saw Jess standing near main gate. The only thought that came into my mind was, "Is she waiting for me" . Befkre I could move toward her, Amelia came toward me and hugged me.

I hugged her back, Jess turned around for a second and then looked at me with her smily face. I walked toward her and Amelia was holding my hand. "Were you waiting for me Jess. I am sorry I have some plans with Ami .. Sorry I didn't informed you", I said to Jess. I was waiting for her reply.

She looked into my eyes and said, "Yah, why will I wait for you. I was waiting for Jacob .. You know that guy we met last week". I was shocked after hearing her reply.

Amelia turned and said to me that she will be waiting for me in car and left. I don't know why I was annoyed to hear her reply. Before leaving her I took a last glance at her and said, "Ok fine"

"What was I even expecting from her", I said in low voice.

I saw Ed getting in car without even looking behind. As soon as his car got out of my sight I broke down. I was crying so hard. After few time of crying, I got up and made my way toward my home.

I reached my mom, my family was having dinner, without even glancing at them I ran toward my room and locked it.

It was midnight when I heard a door knock. I got up and opened the door. It was mum ... She was holding a tray "I brought you some food" she said as she put tray on my bed and gestured me to sit with her.

My face was flushed after crying so much, I was looking down, I can't even speak anything. I felt my mom's hand on my cheek. "What happened sweety" mom asked me while caressing my cheeks.

As she asked that I started crying and hugged her tightly. "Why it hurt so much .. (sob) .. Why love hurt so much mom (sob)".

After few minutes when I was stable, mom took my hand into her hand and said, "Jess, I don't know what happened, but I know something for sure if your love is meant for you, it will come to you no matter what, for everyone there is a soulmate. And you know that you are going to meet him soon. So why waste your time, just wait a bit longer for him. Maybe for whom you are running for is not for you or maybe if he is he will come to you .. Everything will come on right time".

She got up and before leaving my room she smiled at me and said, "think about what I said". Maybe she is right and right now I am middle school girl. From now on I will focus on my studies and for Ed, I can't lose my bestfriend. I will make up with him tomorrow. With this I drifted to sleep.
