Lub dub.. lub dub.... Seeing the delicate but strong abs of Akane, Mitsua's heart started pounding like crazy.

~Mitsua POV~

'Am I having a heart disease? If not then why is my heart being like this seeing my best friend... and I shouldn't feel weird!'

*No one's POV*

Mitsua screamed internally.

Realising the situation he was in, Mitsua waved back to Akane.

"What's the matter that you've called me so late at night?", Mitsua spoke to Akane in actions.

"Oh... I wanted to talk to you..", Akane replied in the same way to Mitsua.

Swirling the paper phone in the air Akane gave it to Mitsua. And luckily Mitsua even caught it.

{* A is Akane. And M is Mitsua*}

A- Hello. Can you hear me? Over.

M- Yes of course I can. Over.

The duo giggled together.

A- Mitsu it's difficult to shout from my window. So this is the best way of talking. How is it? Over.

M- Yeah, it's nice Akane-san. By the way didn't you say that you want to talk to me about something? Over.

A-..........

Akane remains silent while thinking for a moment

M- why did you become quiet? Do you have any problem? Perhaps... Something that you are hesitating to share with me?

A- Umm.. No.. No problem at all. It's just that I wanted to ask a question. Over.

Akane looked ar Mitsua and thought,'How can u say that you are my problems solution!'

Suddenly Akane noticed Mitsua's red ears and he froze.

"You became red like tomato just by seeing my bare upper body?", "hahaha"

Akane laughed after speaking and he mentally made a note,'I will seduce you with my body then, my cute pinky'

M- What a question? What do you want to know? Ask now! I will answer. Over.

A- Oh. Really? I can?

A- So you really don't have any question for me? Over.

Mitsua freezes and thinks,'Ah.. what should I answer?!'

M- What.. me? no.. I don't have any question. Over.

Mitsua thought,' How come he can always read my mind!! It's so embarassing!'

A- Oh, really 'my' Mitsu?

Akane emphasized on the word 'my' making Mitsua's mind wander.

'M-my Mitsu?.. :O.. What the hell is he saying? Is he teasing me?!?'

M- So what is it that you wanted to ask about?

A- Yes. But I don't want to talk through this about it. Let's talk about this on weekend at the child park. Over.

M- Akaneee!! I'm not pinky. 😬😤 Over!

A- okay okay cool Mitsu... But you're so cute! You know I wanna kiss you now, my dear pinky. Jal Ga. Over.

Akane took back the cup phone immediately as and went back as if it wasn't him who spoke in a seductive voice to Mitsua before few seconds.

(*note: Jal Ga means Good night.*)

Mitsua was in complete shock. He dazed at Akane like a statue.

Suddenly Akane winked at him and went to bed.

Mitsua couldn't believe his eyes and slapped his both cheeks lightly thinking that it was a hallucination.

'Did I misheard him? Or was it real? Oh my god! shit! I have to go to a doctor to check my ears I think..!'

In embarassment he went to bed while being confused.

Next Day

Both of them came out of their houses at the same time...

Seeing each other they stared deep in each other's eyes

Getting shy Mitsua turns his head to the opposite direction making Akane grin widely.

"Mitsu come on! Sit at the backside of my bike. let's go.", Akane spoke while getting on his bicycle.

"Ani ani.. It's okay. I will walk"

"Hey. What are you saying? It's going to be 9'O clock soon!"

While the duo stood in front of their house Akane's mom comes

"Omo, don't be so shy and polite Mitsu; he is just like your brother. Go with him dear, it's already late and you have to go to school earlier Mitsu.", she spoke while looking at them.

Mitsu gives and awkward smile and sits behind Akane.

"Akane be safe dear. And also look out and take care of my cute Mitsu"

"Arraseo mom. I will take care of him.", Akane spoke while starting to ride the bike slowly. A satisfactory smile was there on his face hearing his mom.

[*AR:- Akane you handsome devil 🤭😙*]

While Akane's mom watched the two go, Mitsua's mom came out of the house.

"if mitsua was a girl then i would've made sure that my akane married him. what a waste that he's a boy. mitsua is such a good child", akane's mom sighed.

"yeah i would've loved to have a son-in-law as good and handsome as akane too.", mitsua's mom told.

"it's okay. at least we are neighbours, doesn't matter if we are family or not in reality; as long as we think so"

[*ar: my dear mother's you cab still make your son's marry each other in africa you know?!*]

soon it was the weekend

mitsua and akane both went to the children's park and sat in a corner.

awkward silence overwhelmed when none of them showed and signs of beginning the conversation with the other.

at this time of spring in the evening akane was all shiny and so handsome that his face alone made people wandering in the park gossip about him. but akane's eyes only looked at mitsu lovingly....

being oblivious to akane's warm stare which attacked his heart, the grey haired boy wearing specs tried his best yo not fall for him even when has already fallen.

finally not being able to hold onto that awkward air mitsu spoke,"I wanna ask you a question Akane-san"

"Yeah, go ahead."

Mitsu spoke in a low voice which was only audible to Akane,"Why an I not allowed to like anyone else apart from you?"

Akane's mind screamed the answer to that question,'You already know the reason Mitsu!!'

But instead his mouth told something else, "I already said that *I like you*"

"Aiya! I know that already!"

Mitsua's reply left akane shocked.

"Why do you looked so surprised? I also like you, you know?... Dear bro" 😄

Mitsu thought,'did I say something wrong? Though I can't look at him directly in the eyes;But I can still feel that he's looking at me as if I told something weird.'

Akane spoke still staring at Mitsu," You still don't understand my liking towards you.. do you? Do you want me to show you what kind of like I'm talking about?"

Mitsu immediately pouted and spoke," Ahh.. Akane-san did I make you mad?😥 I'm sorry. Let's talk later then."

Mitsu was about to stand and leave...

"Wait! Where are you going? Who said that you can leave?", Akane held Mitsua's hand and tightened the grip around it while dragging Mitsu to the bug tree at the back of the park.

Akane pushed him softly on the tree and snaked his arms around Mitsua's waist in a swift movement.

Wasting no time Akane tilted his head revealing his masculine neck and bend down to a certain angle where he could easily acess Mitsua's mouth.

And before Mitsu could react, which he couldn't, he felt Akane's lips placed above his.
