One of the person suddenly asked the confused Ayra who was dressed as a boy called Aiden.

Ayra's inner scream was louder than her words and calmness which she implied outside.

Cool! But still. We'll introduce ourselves. I'm Nick Fowler.
Josh Larson
I'm Josh Larson and...
The other guy was as usual silent which made Josh speak for him again.

He's Simon Brock.
Since the day Ayra stepped into New York City, the news about the new band 'Stardom Nights' has been airing everywhere.

When are we planning to start?
Josh Larson
Yes. Mr. Aiden, please have a seat.
Josh said before indicating to the chair placed in front of them.

Ayra took a deep breath and placed herself on the chair she was asked to.
As the interview began, Ayra could feel herself being nervous as someone's pair of eyes were constantly glaring at her. But why?
It was Simon. Maybe trying to figure out if it's a male or a girl in disguise. But why would they doubt?
Did she not dress correctly? Is there a flaw? Something missing?
Their eyes collided a few times for just a fraction of seconds before Ayra quietly looking away. She couldn't stand the way he was looking at her.

(Is he a pervert?)
As Nick found her lost, he signaled Josh to speak.
Ayra Cooper
*waking up*
Ah! Uh...Yes! Yes?
Ayra Cooper
Yes. Yes, I'm fine.
She couldn't figure out when she was lost in thoughts so deeply but she chose to shake it off.
Josh Larson
Okay, do you have work experience?
Ayra Cooper
I worked three jobs before.
Nick Fowler
Why did you leave them?
Ayra Cooper
First was a couple. But there seemed to be some problem between them and they were divorced. So I left the place.
Ayra Cooper
The second was babysitting a 3-year-old boy. But after few months, they left the country. So I was jobless again.
Ayra Cooper
The third was an old man around his 40s. He was short-tempered and would always insult me in front of his clients or guests. So I left that place.

Tough times. I can understand.
Josh Larson
On to the next question-
Simon Brock
First, the couple divorced. Second, the family left the country. Why did the family you worked in had such problems?
Simon's sudden blame on her made her speechless. She had already lost half of her confidence because of this cold man.
Why isn't he sparing her here at least?!
Ayra Cooper
Ahem. It was just a coincidence. Not only did families I worked in had problems, but others have also too. But just, I had to encounter it at my work.
Simon Brock
Such overconfidence is not good.
What overconfidence? She already lost her confidence.
Simon Brock
Plus, the third job wasn't that hard to do. You left because you can't handle the true side of the world.

Even though Simon had heard what she said but he wanted to see her nerve. But as expected, she was quiet.

All I can analyze from this is, you carry all the negativity with you. What is the guarantee that our band wouldn't face any problems even if we take you in?
That's it! It's way too far for Ayra to handle this. She took a deep breath making her mind that she can't do this anymore, and stood up.
Ayra Cooper
I'm sorry for wasting your time. I think I can't stay here anymore. If in the future, you get any problems, I don't want to be blamed. Thank you so much for your time.
As she turned to leave, Josh pinched Simon and he gave him a certain look to which Josh said.
Josh Larson
Wait, Mr. Aiden. I apologize on behalf of Mr. Brock. I agree it was way too harsh, but please don't go like this.
Why did they stop her? It's just losing one candidate. They still have a long line of men for the interview, then why?
