Chapter. 4. The new boss.

The three girls were scolding a girl...more like 'a bully'. They were bullying her for confessing to Max. That girl was really frightened and helpless. Aai ignored them and walked away. Then,

: "Hey! don't you think you're acting stupid?". a voice spoke. The three girls looked at her and one among them said,

: "What!...who are you?".

: "Who am I it's not your concern. It's that you are bullying her just because she confessed her feelings to a boy or because you fear she might became his girlfriend? Or is it that you have less confidence in your looks?".

: "Girl do you know who we are...?" a girl complained.

: "Wait...Shanai, it's that rumoured delinquent girl".

: "Yeah, Shanai. She is no good. She's involved with bad people. Better not mess with her!".

Aai: "What, gotta say something". Aai began walking towards them.

Shanai: "Humph, who's not confident in their looks. I'm much better that this bitch...let's go". saying she pushes the girl and they all run away.

Aai : "And... you better be nice". Aai warns them smiling. She glances at that girl and leaves.

Few days later,

As Aai was on her way during break she sees a girl standing. Aai just walks past her.

: "Umm...excuse me!".

Aai turns to see that girl talking to her.

: "Hii...".

Aai: "..." she was about to turn away.

: "Wait! I wanna say something!".

Aai: "...".

: "Thank you for helping me that day. I've been looking for you, can... l would like to be your friend. BTW I'm Belis". Belis offers her hand. Aai looks at her,

That day, later when the girls left, Belis kept crying and was frightened. Aai wanted to ignore but she helped her stand and took her to the infirmary. Though that time Belis was adjusting herself from that scene, she glanced at Aai's face when Aai was leaving.

Aai: "Sorry, I'm not interested in friendship".

Belis: "Wait!". Thud.

Aai sees the girl on ground. She was about to help her,

Max: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?". He runs and holds Belis.

Max thinks Aai is the culprit and scolds her. He even blame her saying she was the stalker who was following him. He kept blaming but Aai just turned around and walked away.

After few days Aai finished her exams. She had her night shift.

At '****L******ittle** cafe'.

Elly ( a cook in the cafe): "Aai did you hear, the boss's little brother will be coming. I hope he starts working with us. I'm eager to see him. I hope he's like the boss, handsome and sweet, if he is then he would be my tension reliever...ouch".

Neil ( waiter ): "You are already making such fuss before seeing him? Have you prepared the order?".

Elly: "Will you stop hitting on my head! It's not called fussing, it's falling, falling head over heels for someone. Here's the order".

Neil: "Yeah right, head over heels! You haven't seen him you are like this, if he appears over here what would be of you?".

Elly: "Humph".

Suddenly the staff door opens and a boy walks in.

Neil: "Excuse me you can't come in here! please have a seat outside, we will get your order. Could you take that order out for me?". he looks at Aai while taking over the boy

The boy walks in, "So this how you work by making the customer wait by chit-chatting here!" he complained.

Elly: "Huh! we weren't chit-chatting. Who are you? Coming in and pointing at us!".

"I'm Max, brother send me here".

Neil: "Wait, by brother you mean Ren sir? oh! Welcome to Little Cafe".

Max: "Thank you!".

Elly: "Wow, what a good-looking boy. Just as expected from the boss's brother. Hello sir!".

They introduce themselves and Neil familiarises Max with everything about the cafe. Later, Aai walks in with a new order. As she waited to receive it, she felt someone's presence.

Looking behind her, a young boy was sitting on the chair and looking at the menu book.

Aai: "...?". Just then Max raised his head and noticed Aai.

Max : "You? Want are you doing here?".

Aai: "I...work here!".

Max: "Oh! so you are that Aai!".

Aai: " that?..."

Max: "My name is Max Halt, Ren's younger brother".

Aai: "You are Ren's brother?...Where's Ren?".

Max: "Brother is out for some business so he left me incharged of the cafe and..." He looks at Aai.
