Fourth Obstacle

Days after days Rose go through in her work, made her knowing that the people is harder that any job that she gets. Knowing and understanding people is a homework for everyone that will never be finished. One by one, Rose try to do what is right to make it a better place to work. Finding the problem and make a little solution for her is really made her feel appreciated even though anyone think its not important.

In the middle of Rose's time that full of work, it turns out that her father is having a heart disease. One of his heart valve is leaking and made him troubled in breathing. Rose didn't know any of it until he gets admitted to hospital. Her father never told about his condition to the family and secretly goes to doctor. In the hospital, Rose's dad finally breathing fine because of the oxygen. The next day, Rose goes to office with her car, while all this time she join the office's shuttle car. She brings the car because she wants to bring clothes and any necessary items for her father in the hospital. That day, she take off from work early to go to the hospital. But when she wants to drive her car out of parking lot, she undeliberately scratch other car. Well, Rose is not a profesional driver for parking matter. This accident stall her time and the security call the owner of the car.

The owner car's name is Hans. He works in audit staff department. Everyone knows him as a handsome, young and clever man in the office. But it's very different with what he did to Rose. After being called by security, Hans came with his friend from same department with furious expression and yell at Rose, "what did you do to my car??". Rose answer, "I undeliberately scratch your car". He yells harder, "how bad is it?". Then the security take him and Rose to his car to check the condition. The scratch is not deep but quite wide. After some time to discuss what should be do, Rose accepted to compensate it next sunday in the dealer. After exchange phone number, Rose drive out her car to go to the hospital. She feels so humiliated and get a trauma with bring the car to the office. The space in the parking lot is narrow and is combined with motorcycle parking lot, so it's a bit crowded. More and more reasons came up in Rose's mind to make her calm. In the hospital, after taking care of her dad's things, she goes home without tell him what has happened to the car. After all, there are no scratch that damage Rose's car, maybe because the car has bright colour.

The next day, Rose goes to the office as usual with her shuttle car, and everyone in the office already know about the incident. What a day! It's not enough with mind's pressure, now Rose has everyone to talk about it. She was asked about what happened, why, how, and what should she do when driving, et cetera so many times, from her friends, her manager, even from other department manager asking about it. But many of them too that blaming Hans for not being sincere about it. Many of them take Rose's side and blame Hans since the scratch is not that bad. But there are some that says bad things about my driving or just kidding her that she wants to get attention from a handsome man. How scary people's opinions can make someone feel worst.

The sunday is finally come, because of many people that say Rose was taken advantage by Hans, Rose bring her brother and friend that she think can talk for her. Rose can't say any about car, and since she just wants to get it done quick, she said yes to any of it. In the dealer, after being checked by the mechanic, the sparepart (the bumper that Rose scratch) is not ready stock the new one or the used one. The mechanic give Rose the price of the new bumper and it cost one month's Rose's wages. Before Rose agreed to it, her brother and friend wants to once again compromise with Hans about it. How about Hans and Rose joint to pay because the bumper he has is already have some defect before being scratch by Rose, and Hans reject it, since he says that the defect before is nothing compared to what Rose do. And after sometime argue between them, Rose thinks that Hans is completely don't want to lose this case, he always finds illogical reasons to reject their opinion. Finally, Hans gets what he wants, a new bumper being full paid by Rose. Rose decide to become the human and accept everything in a nice feelings.
