First day of High School

Ashley's P.O.V

We stepped into the school. It was a really lively place. As we were about to go towards the stairs, we saw the basketball court. We mean me and Lisa. I loved basket ball, even though I was a girl I like basketball and other sports, but Lisa don't. When she saw me staring at the court she said-"Hey, I don't want to waste my time here. Move your but let's go". I was furious but couldn't do anything, at least not at school. We were about to leave when I noticed the ball coming towards me swiftly. My heart started to beat and as the ball came towards my face a handsome man saved it for me is not what happened, Because these things happen in movies only, I caught it myself and my face was sweaty as I was hell'a scared. I started to breathe heavily. I looked back to see Lisa's reaction because I heard her scream, but when I looked back she was standing normally and said-"It would've been better if the ball actually hit you". Furthermore, I was shocked because I thought she screamed. I looked around to see who screamed and saw a girl covering her face and shaking. She removed her hands from her face and ran towards me asking-"Are you okay??" I replied-"yes" than she said-"I thought the ball will hit you, but you have nice catch", While saying this she looked more calm than before.2 boys full of sweat came towards me and arrogantly said-"Give me the ball and leave" Then the girl who screamed before said-"Hey! Stop being so arrogant, What if the ball actually ended up hitting her and hurting her? Would you take the responsibility of that? At least you should say sorry to her idiots!!!" I did not expect that she would be that brave.Then the two boys said-"Mind your words' kiddo!and the ball did not hit her, so why are u making ruckus about that and even if it did why would we care?.Then the other one said-"And.... sorry my foot". I was triggered, did I tell u guys I was short-tempered. After hearing that, I took few steps back and gave a big smile and said-"You want the ball? Catch it if u can."Then I aimed the ball on the face of one of them and threw it with all my strength and another BOOM!!! , The ball actually ended up on his face and causing him to lose balance and fall with a bleeding nose. What I was more surprised about was that no one cared and came to see what happened,"Seems like it a daily routine"I thought. Seeing him fall, the other guys in the court started running toward him and asking if he is okay and all the boring stuff I don't care about.Then a guy stood up and came towards me with another guy. They both were handsome,, but the one standing in the right had really beautiful blue eyes and I knew what was going to happen. The blue-eyed guy came toward me and stood at a distance and said-"You don't look like from this school. Are you new here?", his tone was so arrogant that I wanted to slap him right away but I did not want more trouble so I simply answered yes. Then he glared at me with his cold eyes, probably thinking I would be scared but I am used to these glares. While glaring, he added-"You are a new student and dared to hit someone? Do you have a death wish" than his other friend who was standing with him, patted his shoulder as he was calming him down and said-"Miss do u have any explanation or would you like to go the principal office with me" and then Lisa butted in and said-"Sister, you should not hurt others, Its your first day dad said you not to cause trouble.You should apologize," she said this in such a childish tone that I was about to puke. I had to answer and said-"Sister dad also told you to not talk in between when 2 elders are talking so keep quiet and you, it was your friend who threw the ball on my face and didn't even say sorry and talked arrogantly. So I just gave him the taste of his own medicine" than that other girl added-"Yes that's true". Realizing it's not my fault the calm one said-"We are really sorry for what he did" Than they left, but the blue eyes gave me another glare an if he will kill me. After all of this trouble the other girl introduced herself as thia and I told her my name than Lisa said-"sis we have to go to teacher's room too, don't waste your time and come." And then I said thia bye and left with Lisa. After entering the teacher';s room Lisa started to throw compliments on the teacher in short she started boot licking and this continued till we entered the class.
