A Beautiful Start!

There was a man named Atsuko who peacefully living in a city where powers exist and dreams always come true. His father died in an accident, so only his mother and his younger brother Haruko left in his life. One morning, his young brother Haruko decided to wake him up. Suddenly, he came up with a scheme to wake his big brother. He slowly opens the door and slowly bends his knees. Then, he jumped so high to reach his brother’s bed, and shout so loud even their mother heard him downstairs, “Brother! Wake up!”. His feet landed on Atsuko’s belly, and Atsuko groans in pain. Haruko was laughing even their neighbours heard them. “You….evil brat!!” Atsuko said with a scary look on his face. Haruko suddenly trembled in fear and can’t move even an inch. Unexpectedly, Atsuko hit his brother’s head and leave a bump on it. Then, they start arguing with each other. Their mother went to Atsuko's room to check them out. When she arrived...

“You brat!! Why did you do that?!”. Atsuko said.

“I just want you to wake up!!” Haruko said.

“You called that waking up!? It’s not waking up! It’s killing me up!” Atsuko said.

“Eh?! Brother, you’re so ungrateful to me…Thanks to me, you are never late for school! You’re just a lazy sloth that doesn’t want to leave his bed…” Haruko teasing.

“W-Wha?! (Grin) I see....pretending to be smart. Like you all perfect in everything, but you’re just tone-deaf when it comes to

singing!” Atsuko teasing.

“(Embarrassed) What!! Big Brother is a-” Haruko added.

“Haruko is a-” Atsuko added.

“Stop you two!” Aiko said (Name of Atsuko and Haruko’s mother).

“Mom! It's-” Both said.

“Stop!!! (Huff). Say nothing more than that. Once those words leave your mouths, you’ll never be able to take them back.” Aiko said.

“But-” Both added.

“Words are like swords. If you use them the wrong way, they’ll turn into ugly weapons. There are cases of broken relationships that could have lasted a lifetime if not for verbal abuse. Once you sever your ties, you might not see each other ever again.” Aiko added.

Both were speechless, then suddenly Haruko began to talk “Big Bro, I’m sorry.”.

“Forgive me too, Haruko. It's my fault, for calling you a brat.", Atsuko said.

"Me, too.", Haruko added.

Their mother smiled and said, “Cut the crap, you two. Let’s eat, before the food gets cold.”.

The three of them went to the kitchen and have a sweet breakfast. They've prepared their bags and other school materials they need. Their mother was taking a bath and while Atsuko and Haruko are waiting they talked to each other.

"Big Bro, do you have a dream?", Haruko said.

"Well, kinda. But, I'm not exactly sure if it would come true." Atsuko replied.

"Well, what is it?", Haruko asked.

"(Smiled) To be with her. Forever." Atsuko whispered.
