Arthur was frozen for a moment, he could only thought

'did her mother left her too?'

He was there till she was in deep sleep. His shirt was wet due to her tears, after sometime assured she was fine now, he slidded down and got out of her tent.

He saw his brother sitting under the tree. As he walked towards him.

His brother Lucifer asked him "Is sister-in-law fine?......."

Arthur just nodded.

Lucifer said "Brother Why you agreed to marry her?.......

I mean King Edward just requested you to marry his daughter.....

I didn't thought you will marry her...... just the day after the proposal....."

Arthur said "I don't know.... anyway I have to marry someone..... so it doesn't matter anymore....."

Lucifer said "I thought you weren't interested in women...... it's good..... he.... he.."

Arthur glared at him, his brother suppressed his laugh.

Lucifer said "I thought you will let that man kill her......"

Arthur looked away and said in his hoarse voice "I pledged on the Altar to protect her........ even if she doesn't matter to me.......

She is my wife...... and no one have right on anything what's mine........"

Lucifer just smiled at him.

Arthur said "We should start moving..... it will be dawn soon...... it won't be safe for her to stay here all night......"

Lucifer nodded and said "But, she is-"

"AAAH"

They heard someone screaming from her tent.

Both of them rushed inside her tent, Ariel was holding her head and her maid were trying to calm. Her body was trembling, her forehead covered with sweat. She gathered her knees close to her chest.

Arthur asked her in his cold voice "What happened?...."

Her maid Lily said "Your majesty, we don't know...... we came here when her highness screamed....... "

Arthur said to his brother"Get the physician here..... Now"

Lucifer nodded and walked out of the tent.

Arthur said to the maids "Everyone Leave....".

As the maids left the tent, Arthur walked close to her. He sat beside her.

He heard her whispers

"Don't Kill me......

Don't Kill me......"

Arthur face darkened in worry, he gently wrapped his fingers around both her hands pressing them down.

His face slowly got close to her, he could feel her body trembling, she was too afraid to open her eyes.

He whispered to her ears "Shh.... No one will dare to even touch you........ You are safe with here....."

He felt his words affected her. He heard his brother being outside the tent

"Brother, Physician is here....."

Arthur said "Send him in..."

The physician came in, he started examine her and asked the maid to prepare the medicine.

He turned to Arthur and said "Your Highness, it's nothing worry about.....

it's just Her highness is in phase...... she just need rest and it would be better to not leave her alone for the time.....

I have prescribed the medicine, it will help her to relax......"

Arthur nodded, Lucifer and others left her tent.

Arthur said to her "Get ready, we are leaving.....

He walked to certain distance and said again

"You will be ridding with me..... we will reach faster...."

Ariel was just staring at his back, she was scared to say a word all she could see was him covered in blood, coming towards her to kill her. Her mind was just hovered with those scenes.

She was scared, lonely, no one to rely on, her husband's words were ringing in her mind,

'KILL HER'

His darkened expression, his clothes and hands covered with blood, his heavy steps approaching her with the sword in his hands. Only thing she could thought was to accept her death, but the next moment she was in his arms.

All her confusion, and trauma made her head heavy and she fainted.

After sometime her maids came in and started to help her.

Ariel heard her maid Lily saying "Princess, you are really lucky to have a husband like his highness.......

He was in the tent for the whole time, till you were asleep......."

Ariel eyes sparked, she looked at Lily and said "Really..."

Lily nodded with a smile on her face.

Ariel felt lighter than before.

After getting ready, Ariel could see the men were ready to leave. She walked to the horse on which Arthur was sitting, as she got close to it Arthur got down from the horse.

For the moment Ariel flinched and took a step back. Her hands were wet in sweat as she was clenching her dress in her fingers.

Arthur didn't liked her reaction not knowing the reason why, but he still extended his hands to her.

She was in dilemma to grab his hand or not.

Not seeing any reaction from her, he got up on the horse, he bend down wrapping his arms around her waist, he lifted her up and made her sit beside him.

He could see her eyes were closed, and her fingers clutching on his shirt.

A tiny smile appeared on his for a micro second, he said maintaining his cold expression "Hold tightly....."

Ariel looked up to confirm what he was saying, she just nodded and looked ahead.

Seeing her fragile body he was still not sure about her safety, so he wrapped a clothing around them and tied her with him.

They started the ride a bit slower than usual, Ariel was excited and happy to see the outer world, she have seen the garden in her palace but the forest and the rivers were more beautiful.

She was lost in admiring in the beauty of nature, and couldn't notice someone's gaze on her.

Arthur could see her face was much relaxed and happier, she was enjoying the ride with him. Her hands holding his hands, her eyes covering every scene she wants to and her hair strand flowing with wind.

This was the first when he saw her this happy after their wedding, even before their wedding when he saw her for the first time...... .
