A New World!

I had no idea for how long I was unconscious. But, when I opened my eyes…..

Snowy mountains on the left side at a far distance, large ocean on the furthest right, while my body was lying on a crop field and every portion of the area was getting clearer by the light of a big moon. 

No, no, I am not bluffing. At first, I thought I am having a dream but it looked more than real for me. The scenery; I was amused by its beauty. I just stayed there calmly for some time until I got my conscience back. 

Now I remember that I was hit by a truck at full speed. Oh my god, am I dead? Is this heaven or…..

"Enough is enough. For how long you are going to stay like that, idiot?", a solid voice broke my thought process suddenly. I was literally trembling in shock and jumped to stand firm on the ground.

A person, no-no a giant of almost 10 feet long is standing in front me. I was in no condition to talk. 

He said or more specifically roared at me, "What are you going to achieve just by procrastinating like that? Soumyo, you have to win this battle no matter what for the sake of this world. Let's rock, my little friend". 

I had to give a response now. "Sir, you are mistaking someone else with me. My name is not Soumyo", I said in a low voice. 

"Yeah, yeah I know. Your real name is Chintan. I have not forget that but it seems like you have forgotten the rules of the game completely. So, I am here to remind you some points. Got it?", he roared once again. 

Who the hell is Chintan? I don't know him, neither I am that person. But, I didn't have the courage to rectify him once again. Besides that I also wanted to know the situation I am in, clearly. So, I nodded my head slightly. 

He continued, "This is a battle royale game of life. Here you have to fight opponents to stay alive. There are different levels of players. Like at the start you will be getting into simple fist fights, then may be you will get a knife or bat to use, after that it can be a pistol and just by going like that you can have tanks or even super powers on your own. The most interesting thing is no matter which stage you are in if you get a opponent lower than your rank, then you can't use your extra advantages over that person. For example, if someone who has a super power comes to fight with you, then he or she can not use that power as you don't have that advancement. So, though he has superior tools with him, he only can have a fist fight to beat you. Don't get upset or motivated unnecessarily by that. That rule is build to make the game more interesting. That's all".

My brain was not ready to understand all of it at one go. And whenever in confusion, human mind throws a question and I exactly did the same. "What if I refuse to fight?", I shouted like my life was depending on it. 

The giant person smiles a little. "My friend, there are many things you have to learn to stay alive in this world. But, the most important thing is staying alive itself. Never forget that", he rested his judgement slowly and within a second just got vanished. 

Yes, exactly the same way I wrote, it happened in front of my eyes. And I was alone again in an entirely different universe.
