Lebanon,
Post 2006 war,
The money that Ezzedine spent on reconstruction on Hezbollah's orders were airlifted from Tehran to Lebanon via Damascus, in cash.
A portion of this money was distributed among Lebanese people but a huge portion was reserved for Ezzedine to invest.
Amd unknown to them, Mossad's eyes and ears were fixed on this money.
February 2007,
Ezzedine was looking for ways to increase this money multiple times and for this he was touring many Arabian Countries.
From Kuwait to Doha, Manama to Abu Dhabi he was visiting many people in many places. And for a similar meeting he was visiting Dubai.
Ezzedine's biggest mistake was to go to Dubai.
Dubai,
United Arab Emirates,
Ezzedine was meeting with some young investors who had just launched a new investment fund.
They promised him that if he invests in this fund, then he will have a guaranteed 40-50% returns(profits).
Ezzedine became greedy, very very greedy. So greedy that without doing proper research on these investors he agreed to invest in them.
After one month, when those American investors in Dubai deposit his 50% profit, he was over the moon and starts heavily increasing his investment amount .
Now, rather than hundreds of thousands of dollars he was now investing millions of dollars.
This fund had become a golden egg laying hen and he was dying to let his friends in Hezbollah have a tase of it.
March 2007,
Soon, Ezzedine starts an Asset and Money Management Company, named Al-Mustathmir, and it's doors are opened firstly for top ranks of Hezbollah.
He gives guarantee to deliver 40-50% profit to these top officials. And within a week, men with guns and cash were flooding his company.
Nasarallah, Secretary general, Hezbollah himself was investing millions of dollars. Dollars that were taken straight out of Hezbollah's treasury.
With the help of Ezzedine's company, their money was multiplying many folds. Ezzedine had now become a star and now he was invited as chief guest in Hezbollah's gatherings.
Not only Hezbollah but many rich clients like Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps started investing.
Let alone these people, common Lebanese people like electrician, plumber, mechanic etc. were also investing in him.
These common folks were investing with every penny they had saved.
Greed has a problem with it. Any castle made on it will eventually have to fall. Every dream that Ezzedine sold to these investors were about to crumble down very badly.
August 2009,
In August 2009, Ezzedine signs a check worth $200,000 (USD200,000) for one of his clients.
This client was Hussein Haj Hassan and he was no plumber but a powerful Lebanese politician. A member of Lebanese parliament, Minister of Industry and a close friend of Nasarallah and his political advisor.
He submits the check in bank but this check got rejected.
All of Ezzedines' bank accounts were as clear as water. His friends in Dubai, who were giving him 40-50% profits for the past two years disappeared overnight.
Not only they disappeared but all the money disappeared in thin air.
To be continued.
