confused with feelings

...it's been a while. we are in relationship since 2017.everything was going well for us. but an incident change my life change my feelings. me miya now sitting alone under a shed of a tree and thinking about the past love life of mine with my love peter. but now I'm confused i love him or not. no I'm not into with other men. me and peter having a relationship it's been 3.5 years although I'm confused. does it happens to everyone who are in love with someone for so long.............
