With a heavy heart, he waved him goodbye and sat on his seat. The train started moving, pulling away from the station.
His mind was also running in full speed with all the memories flashing before his eyes. The day they met in the high school's corridors, the day he proposed him, the day he met his parents and convinced them to give them his hand for marriage, the day they got married and the innumerable, treasured moments they shared later.
But, he had to leave him and go. He was jobless for several months due to recession and he their savings were coming to an end. Finally, he had been offered a job in another city.
Immersed in his thoughts, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and guess what? It was him! He was surprised to the core as well as confused. “What is he doing here after all?”, he thought.
That is when he revealed the plan on which had been working on for two weeks, without letting him know at all. he had spoke with his parents and arranged the job for him in their friend's company. To top this, he had also secured a teacher's job, for which he had given the interview secretly, in the same city !!
He was so happy because of the wonderful surprise that he had given him. But, he was overjoyed when he realized that he and the love of his life we're not going to be separated, they were going to live together !!
