The HARE and the Tortoise

Once there was a speedy hare

who bragged about how fast he could run. Tired of hearing him boast, the tortoise challenged him to a race. All the animals in the forest gathered

To watch. The hare run down the road for a while and then paused

to rest. He looked back at the tortoise and cried out “How

do expect to win this race when you are walking along at

your slow paces?

The hare stretched himself out

alongside the road and fell asleep. Thinking,” There’s a lot of time to relax.” The tortoise walked and walked; never ever stopping until

she came to the finish line. The animals who were watching cheered so loudly that they woke up the hare. The hare stretched and yawned and run

again, but it was too late. Tortoise was already over the line.

الأرنب والسلحفاة

ذات مرة كان هناك أرنب سريع كان يتفاخر بمدى سرعته في الجري. سئمت من سماعه يتباهى ، تحدته السلحفاة في سباق. تجمعت كل الحيوانات في الغابة للمشاهدة.

جرى الأرنب على الطريق لفترة ثم توقف ليرتاح. نظر للخلف إلى السلحفاة وصرخ عاليا “كيف

تتوقع ان تربح في هذا السباق حينما تكون ماشيا بخطواتك البطيئة؟

الأرنب مدد نفسه بجانب الطريق وغط فى النوم . مفكرا ، “هناك الكثير من الوقت للاسترخاء.” مشيت السلحفاة وسارت. لا تتوقف أبدًا حتى وصلت إلى خط النهاية. هللت الحيوانات التي كانت تشاهدها بصوت عالٍ لدرجة أنها أيقظت الأرنب. تمدد الأرنب وتثاءب وركض

مرة أخرى ، ولكن بعد فوات الأوان. كانت السلحفاة قد تجاوزت الخط بالفعل.
