Jack

I'm on my way to the pack house. Noah, Sam, and I are in the neighboring pack sorting some things out. We just received Mike's message saying the former pack warrior had already arrived with his wife and daughter.

“Where are you?” Mike asks through the mind link.

“We're close. Why?”

“The ex-warrior's daughter is unbearable. She hasn't stopped spewing venom at Luna, and she lets it slide, saying she understands her resentment.”

“We'll be there in 5 minutes.”

That's the last straw. How dare that weak she-wolf disrespect my mother. Even if she's resentful, she owes her respect for being her Luna.

“Did Mike tell you guys the same thing he told me?” Sam asks us through the mind link.

“It seems we have to teach that insolent she-wolf a lesson,” Noah says.

Upon arriving at the pack house, I shift to my human form, just like my brothers, and we put on some clothes.

~That scent, do you smell it? Tell me you do,~ asks Zeke, my wolf.

And that's when an exquisite scent reaches me, coming from inside the house. I look at my brothers, and they look at me; it's clear they smell it too. Without further ado, we enter the pack house, and the scent intensifies.

“I think Emma and I will leave so you can talk without rude girls interrupting,” says the woman there, taking the red-haired girl by the arm.

“Mate!” my brothers and I exclaim, lunging towards the redhead, whom we place behind us while growling at the one who is supposedly her mother.

I was going crazy, as Luna Stela wouldn't stop bringing up the past, and every time I lost my temper, I'd argue with her, which is why I ended up being scolded again.

“I think Emma and I will go talk for a moment so you can speak without rude girls interrupting,” Mom lifts me by the arm, not gently at all, to be honest.

As I stood up, I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, growls were heard, and I was snatched from my mother's grasp, ending up behind three men who were growling at my mother. My father stepped in front of my mother to protect her, as any mate would. When I came to my senses, I reacted: who do these guys think they are, growling at my parents?

“Can someone tell me what's wrong with you? No...” I fell silent abruptly when three pairs of blue eyes turned towards me. The triplets! And if I was furious before because they had growled at my parents, now I was much more so.

“I’m sorry, Alphas. It wasn’t my intention to disrespect you; I just did what any mate does for his partner,” Dad apologizes.

The Alphas say nothing, their gaze fixed on me. A moment ago, their looks were harsh, showing considerable anger, but upon turning to look at me, their expressions changed.

~Obviously, they are our mates, silly,~ Liz says as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

Her declaration hits me like a bucket of cold water. How is this possible? The Moon Goddess must be playing with me. Why would she give me these guys as mates?
