Why isn't Lay here yet? Chat Lay Lio, that's what brother Kyle said.

"Why not you? i have a bad feeling that she'll start a drama again," Brother Lio disagree

Let her be, she'll face my wrath when I get home! Mom said angrily.

How unfair this family is! I wish I were Kyla instead..

I let them be and went back to my bed, pondering why they can't love me like they do to Kyla. I'm their child too, I'm also their sibling, why does Kyla receive more love and attention than me.

It's 2:00 am and I can't sleep, I don't know why I can't sleep so I decided to leave my room. Before that, I took the award I received from school, the one I worked hard for just to make Mom, Dad, and Brother proud. I brought it to the kitchen, got some water, sat at the table, and stared at the piece of paper I worked hard on for months just to make Mom to be happy to me.

I feel tears streaming down my face and I don't know what else to do. I crumpled the award paper and just threw it on the floor. Then, I went back to my room.

Kyle's point of view/pov:

I woke up at 2:00 am and saw Lay coming out of her room carrying a piece of paper. I watched as she placed it on the table and stared at it. After a few moments, tears started to flow from her eyes. She crumpled the paper and went back into her room.

As she left, I picked up the paper she threw and saw that it was her award for achieving the highest honor. I realized why she was crying - because of the unfair treatment towards her. I took the paper, tried to fix it, got a picture frame, placed Lay's award in it, and hung it in our awards area.

Suddenly my phone received a notification and see's that my brother kyle texted me.

Kyle- congrats little sis🥳❤️

Joy- What?? is it brother?

Kyle- Wow, with highest honor! I'm so proud of you! Let's go out tomorrow? My treat! 🎉

Joy- Thank you, it's okay even if we don't go out, I still have things to do tomorrow.

Kyle- what are you doing do to tomorrow?

Joy- it's just that I'm busy tomorrow, maybe next time. Anyways, I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight.

Kyle- ahhh okay okay night
