Marius Fitzy narrating:

I descend the stairs towards the dining room and find my father sitting at the table while reading a newspaper.

"Good morning," I said, sitting down at the table to have my breakfast before going to the company.

"Good morning, son," my father said, closing the newspaper and looking at me.

"Where are my siblings?" I asked.

"Cristian didn't sleep at home and Eliza already left for college," he said, sipping his coffee.

"Right, where is my mother?"

"In the garden, taking care of the plants," he said.

Mom loves taking care of the garden, she says the plants make her relax.

"Right".

After eating, I said goodbye to my father and left for another day of work. Despite being twenty-eight years old, I still live with my parents, but that doesn't mean I don't have other houses. Cristian is a nice guy, immature sometimes, but he's nice. I feel like he does all this to get attention, he's always been like that, he likes attention and even more to receive it.

"Okay, enough," I said, moving away from him.

I picked up the phone and called Avellar to my office, a few seconds later she passed through the door and all her attention was on my brother. Since she started working here, I've seen the way she looks at him, I know he's noticed it too, but he's never done anything.

He likes attention and she gives it to him, one day when she gets tired and stops chasing him I just want to see what his reaction will be. Alisson or as I call professionally Avellar, is an incredible woman and I believe she deserves someone who values her feelings, something my brother has never done.

"Avellar, I'm going out to lunch and I'm not coming back today," I said, calling her attention, "any appointment that appears, schedule it for Monday."

"Right, Mr. Fitzy, anything else?"

"After you finish everything you have to do, you can leave."

"Ok, excuse me, Mr. Fitzy," she said, giving one last look at Cristian and soon leaving.

"She likes you," I said.

"Tell me something I don't know? She lives chasing me," he said making a face.

"Why don't you give her a chance?"

"No, she's just a secretary," he said with disdain, which makes me seethe with anger, "what will they say when they see that Cristian Fitzy, the guy who goes out with several models, is dating a secretary?"

"And what does that matter? Is she a secretary? Yes, but that doesn't define her, what defines someone is their character," I said, reprimanding him, "Alisson Avellar is a great girl, she is intelligent, competent and above all not greedy like these models you date."
