I was walking through the school corridor to my class... when I heard my name been called with excitement by a crazy-weirdo girl, Kate who claims that she likes me.... she walked towards me and said,
"Hi!!, Ash... or should I say Mr icy-cold.... good morning!!"..... flashing the sweetest smile I ever saw. I ignore her and went to the class.
" Can't we just wish me back", she mumble and went into the class.
"Here, Kate here", Kate looked at her best friend and walked towards her. She sat next to her...
" He ignored you again... didn't he Kate??", said while looking at Ash and then at her... She just nodded her head.
"I didn't get it... why the hell you crush on this guy when there are many flowers in the garden", she said making you roll your eyes on her.
"It's just that he is different and I just like him that's all", Kate said leading her to start her train of thoughts... it's been a year since Kate liked him and confessed to him..... On the other hand, Ash tries his best to ignore her... she can't blame herself for that... it's just that Ash is like that cold, less talking boy... Kate always tries her best to click with him.

It was lunchtime, Ash was seating on his seat in a corner away from everyone and was eating his lunch when Kate came and said,
"Came I sit here!!"... and sat next to him without waiting for him to reply. He glared at her but Kate who was as thick as a log didn't bother and started eating her lunch.
"Hi!! Are you coming on the trip right??" said while looking at him with curious eyes... he shook his head and went back to his lunch...
"Why are you not coming, you should come it will be fun," said as she grabbed his arm... he pulls her hand away from his arm. Kate pouted and looked at him for a while observing him. She then picks some meat from her plate and put it on his plate saying
"You should eat more... see who thin you are getting day by day".... Ash looked at her.. sighed... got up from his seat and pick his plate to move to another place.
" Where are you going??" said while picking her plate to follow him talking about his health that he should take care of himself and others. Ash was getting irritated with nagging and he had reached his limit so he turned around to face her and shouted,
"WHY THE HELL DO YOU CARE??... I DIDN'T ASK FOR IT... YOU ARE F****NG IRRITATING... ALWAYS FOLLOWING ME... EVEN IF I GIVE A COLD SHOULDER, DIDN'T YOU GET IT WHEN I SAID TO YOU THAT I DON'T LIKE YOU!!!", Ash busted his angry on her without thinking about his surroundings. Kate was hurt by his words, tears were building in her eyes. As she doesn't want to cry in front of everyone so she ran away from there leaving Ash with guilt.
"Sh¡t!!", Ash mumbles as he saw Kate disappearing in front of his eyes. He was regretting his words.

Kate was in the washroom with tears in her eyes and looking in the mirror.
" I'm irritating...", asked herself while tears were escaping from her eyes... "...what did I do wrong... that I like him", said while sobbing... " I wish I can move on from you Ash but I can't... I tried millions of ways to give up these feelings but I was not able to"..... "they just keep on growing".... she cried for a while and then went to her class...
Kate was feeling down the whole day so she decided to enjoy some fresh air on the school roof after school...

Ash was sitting on the rooftop lost in his thoughts...
'Why my life is like this.... why do I always ended up hurting the people who care for me... I'm just f****g tried with this sh!t...', he stood up and walk towards the edge of the rooftop.
He looked down and mumbles, 'if I jump from here... I can free myself from this pain'... he was tired of his life which he thinks has always been unfair to him....so he decided to end all of this by jumping off the building.
He closed his eyes.... remembering the people important to him.... but no one flashed in his mind...he chuckles sadly and took one step forward to jump...... when he again heard his name but this time with a tint of fear in her voice...
"Ash!!"..... Kate said with fear in her eyes..... "Ash... g..get down from... the..there...". Ash turned to her and smiled at her saying "sorry for what I said to you in the canteen", with tears in his eyes. Kate moved to him but stopped as she heard Ash.
"Stop there.... don't try to come near me or else!!", Ash warmed Kate.....
"Ash!!.... please get down... please... it's dangerous", tears falling from her eyes... "Please..."
Ash smiled and was about to turn around but Kate said,
"Ash.. please don't... just get down... hold my hand", forwarding her hand.
Ash looked at her with moist eyes and then trailed his eyes to her hand, a tear escaped from her hand.
This was the very first time when someone offered with hands. He looked into her eyes and asked her "will you never leave my hand... na??"...
Late nodded and said never... Ash mind said that don't believe her while her heart said to take her hand... so he let his heart won and took her hand. As soon as Kate grip his hand he pulled him towards herself making them fall on the ground with Ash above him...
Kate got up and hugged Ash as she felt Ash was shivering. She started combing his back hair and said, "Everything is okay... you are safe!! and you are not alone... I'm there for you"...
Hearing these words Ash felt at ease and hugged her back absorbing all the wrath he was getting from Kate.
They stayed like this till Ash relaxed.

Ash broke the hug and looked at Kate and said,
"I'm sorry, you had to see this all!!"
"No, you don't have to be sorry for this... I'm always there for you.... you can lean on me and I won't mind"
"Why.... why??.. you care about me... even after I said those words to you and gave you cold shoulders"
"Ash... I unconditionally care about you!... and I can't help that"
Ash's eyes again turned moist after hearing Kate because she was the very first person who cared about him but some part of his heart was still insecure!!
Ash hesitate but finally open his mouth gathering his all courage and said, "My father was a killer and was killed by his rivals leaving me and my mom to live in poverty. My mom became drug-addicted and used to curse me beat me. One day she left me in front of an orphanage age saying that 'I was a curse to her. After that, a family adopted me but when they had their child they too abandoned me. My friends left me after knowing about my father from that day onwards I decided to live alone and stay away from every because I don't want to get hurt but still people gossip and cute me."
Ash stop and let his tears flow. While Kate again hugs him giving him all the earth she has.
"Now, I'm fed up with my life and I want to be free from this pain"
"So you decide to give your life and commit suicide"
Ash nods in her chest like a small baby. Late broke the hug and looked at him.
"Ash, I'm never ever going to abandon you. So, use to heal yourself."
"but that won't be fair to you.", said while wiping his tears.
" Nope!!", Kate shook her head. "It will be my pleasure to help you and a chance to win your heart and believe be I will make you mine.", she winks as she finished making Ash chuckle a little.
" Thanks", He hugged her again.
