It was her first day in her new school. As usual she was slightly nervous about her new fellow classmates. But most of them are seemed to be good to her.
The class teacher told her to come and stand in front of the black board and give introduction on herself. She did accordingly.
As soon as she finished her words the sound of applause filled the classroom. But in the population of 55 students her eyes got stuck on the person on fourth bench of middle row
He has a beautiful pair of dark bright eyes, a handsome face and a strong body. He was sitting in the middle of his two friends.
She didn't believe in love at first sight so she didn't know that she has already fallen for him. Better she describe her feeling as a strong attraction which she felt for the first time for anyone.
As the time passed her feeling became more stronger for him. They spend many beautiful times together in acting in school dramas, school picnics, projects.
May the people of whole world laugh at her for feeling special about this silly things but she knew how precious was that moment for her which she spend with him.
She was afraid to confess her feeling for two things. First was afraid of rejection and second was if the news of confession spread in the class she will be doomed. Moreover her teachers were very strict on this matters. But she kept on giving hint to him about her feeling but he was totally blind towards them. She kept waiting for him...
Like this four years passed...
Now they are in high Secondary class. New clothes, new class, smell of new books, but the old classmates and old love remained the same. She just kept on waiting for him.
Except her love many things has changed in this four years. Though they are in same class he went far from her. They only talk one or two words in a month . He became close to the topper girls group. He even tried to ignore her. Yes, her heart ached but what she can do.
Summer vacation started in the middle of May. In this hot days of May-June she went through many up and downs in her emotions and they all started when she suddenly got a notification on her Instagram.
Yes it was him , at first she didn't believe but when he texted her she completely belived it. They used to talk daily at night. She found him to be completely different from before. Now he was not arrogant like before more humble to her. Most importantly he was behaving like a friend with her. For the first time she thought that it might be the perfect time for confession so she thought to prepare for it. But she didn't knew that her all planning and excitement were for nothing.
After two days she saw his story where he had given some quotes on heart break and rejections of proposals.
She got confused and asked him about that. That was the time when she got to know the greatest truth.
There is a girl whom he has fallen one year before but she didn't accept him. The girl was one class lower than them.
Her all happiness shattered into pieces. After some investigation she got to know that the girl was class belle. She was smart, perfect, beautiful, good in studies and has soft voice even teachers also praised her.
What did she do? Used this change to confess him? Or felt happy for his rejection?
Neither of these.
At first she felt Jealous of the girl that a smaller girl has snatched her first love from her but later she realises that the girl was more proper than her for him. The girl has all the qualities that all boys would like then why he will not like her. Even the girl was more proud and feminine than her.
He requested her to help him to court the girl.
She decided to court the girl for him and she did accordingly. It hurted her very much but she console herself by saying that it was all for her love. At last the girl accepted him but she just remained a good friend for both of them. She knew that love cannot be forced and his feelings for the girl was very strong and true. It was the first time he was passionated for someone. She just served as a bridge between them.
Like this years passed. It was their last day of finial examination of high secondary school. Though with everyone she was happy but at the core she was sad. After that day she will never get to see him. And that was the first time she kept herself before him.
She directly went to him and called him alone in a lonely lane just beside their school. She was standing facing her back towards him.
She said, "Today I will say you something please don't ask me any questions or say anything.. just listen to me" He got surprised but obeyed her.
"Before six years first time l saw you in this school and fallen for you, I don't know why. But the time l spend with you were very special to me. I don't know what you will think about me after this but after today's confession l will not have any contact with you.. I loved you but you never cared about my feelings. So now I want to stop all this and want to start a new life.. Good byee.. Take care of yourself and your girlfriend"
She have a faint smile on her face but tears in her eyes. After saying this she just went out of the lane and then her home.
What was his reaction? That was hard to tell because it was a lonely lane so nobody saw it and she went outside without even once also turning back like she decided to do in her life.
He only seen her walking further and further then lost into the far sunset.
