"Thank you Doctor." Emily looked at Russel as he pushed her wheelchair.
As Russel closed the door, a familiar face was seen by Emily.
Her tears flowed as she cried silently and Russel saw her as she weep.
From a distance, a guy who is also assisting a girl in front of the Cardiologist's office. Both holding each other's hand while talking to a Doctor.
"Hey, are you going to be okay?" Russel asked Emily who just wiped her tears.
She smiled sadly as she said, "Yes, let's go."
They got out of the ward and Emily could not stop herself from asking,
"Do you think John saw me?" She asked Russel, pertaining to the guy they saw a while back.
"No, he did not." He comforted Emily, tapping her shoulders.
Few days later, they returned to the hospital. She smiled as she felt the pain.
She felt happy to see her family being with her. Ever since then, she was contented with what she had. Russel, her bestfriend, hugged her as they both cried.

Hours later, the doors opened and a Cardiothoracic Surgeon went out.
"The surgery went well." The Surgeon said and smiled.
Being happy with this, John cried and held his hands together.
"The donor wanted you to have this." She handed a box to John.
He sat down and opened the box. His eyes widened after he saw few pictures inside it.
He saw a letter and read it. Seen in his gloomy face, tears that won't stop on flowing as he sobbed.
He planted his face on both of his hands, asking the air, "Why?"
"Despite having an incurable brain disease, she was full of love because of you." Russel showed up in front of him.
"And she loved you very much. Take care of your wife, and her new heart." Russel added.
John continued crying after what Russel have said.
--------
"I saw your smile after I agreed to be your girlfriend.
You hugged me tightly and spun me like in those fairytale movies I have watched.
What a beautiful gift that life brought me, a gentleman that is one of your kind.
I have never been so in love with someone.
Every girl's dream is to find their prince who will make them happy, now I have found mine.
Picnics in the park, candles lit under the moon, watching the sunset, these were all dream come true.
But not everyone will end up happily ever after.
I'm sorry, my prince.
I can't be there for you.
The promise, of us growing old and having kids. The promise of doing things together in the future.
I never meant to reject your proposal, I wanted to be your wife more than anything. To walk down the aisle as I stare at your face. To hear your vow as we exchange our own wedding rings.
I did not want to let you know about this sickness of mine, but now all I can say is, I'm sorry.
I will always love you.
My heart will always be beating for you.
Please take care of it, and to never break it into pieces.
You will always be the love of my life, but I needed to let you go.
I love you,
-your Emily"
