Episode - 1
When Ahona and Abheek bought this huge penthouse in Mumbai's Malabar Hills, Ahona felt as if all the happiness in the world was in her hands. It was a ten-year love story. From the very first day of college to climbing the corporate ladder, they had held each other's hands. But now, in the second year of their marriage, Ahona was realizing that the familiar man of ten years had somehow become covered in a blanket of mist.
Outside, it was the familiar Mumbai monsoon. Raindrops were crashing against the window pane. Standing in front of the dressing table mirror, Ahona was taking off her diamond necklace. Today was the anniversary party of one of their business partners. Like any other elite, modern woman of South Mumbai's high society, Ahona wore a designer chiffon saree, a sleeveless blouse, and perfect makeup. Her aristocratic manners and elegance were always unquestionable. Yet today at the party, when Abheek put his hand around her waist in front of everyone and said, "My wife is the most beautiful woman in the house," Ahona trembled from inside.
Because just half an hour ago, while coming in the car, Abheek had smiled softly and said, "The media is talking quite a lot about the loss your father made in the new project, Ahona. Please speak a bit carefully in front of my friends. I don't want any stain on the reputation of the Chatterjee family."
These toxic insults hidden behind a sweet face were now Abheek’s daily habit. Ahona’s father was once a renowned businessman in Mumbai, but after losing a big deal last year, his business collapsed. Due to that shock, the gentleman was now paralyzed and bedridden. And exactly from that time, the true face of Abheek's family began to reveal itself.
Yet, this Chatterjee family was once nothing. Abheek’s father, Rajen Chatterjee, was a mere manager in the office of a famous industrialist of the city. After the mysterious death of that owner, by some unknown means, he transferred all the property and business into his own name. The arrogance of this family, which became rich overnight, was sky-high. No one in the joint family of her in-laws liked Ahona much, because she was not a girl to tolerate injustice silently. However, there was one person in this family before whom even Rajen Chatterjee was afraid to speak.
He was none other than the only son of the deceased owner—Ronjoy. Even though the Chatterjee family raised him as their eldest son just for show, Ronjoy, by his own capability, was now one of India's top business tycoons. The members of the Chatterjee family feared this incredibly grave, angry, and sharp-natured man like death itself. Rajen Chatterjee always cringed in fear that Ronjoy might claim his father's real property one day. Ronjoy lived completely separately in a huge villa in Juhu. Ahona and Abheek also lived in a separate flat. Therefore, Ahona had barely had a chance to meet or talk to Ronjoy. She had only seen him from a distance during family get-togethers—a six-foot-two-inch stony, grave figure whose eyes held only cold authority.
Putting the necklace in the drawer, as Ahona entered the bedroom, she saw that Abheek had gone to the washroom. Right then, Abheek’s phone lit up. A WhatsApp message. Usually, Ahona did not touch Abheek’s phone, but the name flashing on the screen was not familiar to her. There was a heart emoji, and it read: *"I am waiting for you at the villa, baby. Come quickly."*
Ahona’s heart seemed to stop. As soon as Abheek came out of the washroom, Ahona asked in a calm voice, "Whose message is it, Abheek?"
Abheek froze for a moment, then smiled that familiar playful, sweet smile and said, "Oh, come on, love! That's a client. The interior designer for the new Juhu project. She has a habit of flirting a little, you know how we have to adjust a bit in this line of work. You are becoming too possessive day by day."
Ahona did not say anything more. But the doubt inside was eating her up away.
The next afternoon, when Abheek said he was going to the private villa in Juhu for an emergency business meeting, Ahona could not control herself anymore. She followed Abheek.
Abheek's private villa was near the lonely beach of Juhu. By luck or misfortune, the door was unlocked. When Ahona walked on tiptoe past the drawing-room towards the bedroom, the sight inside made the ground slip from beneath her feet. Abheek was in an extremely intimate position with another girl on the bed. Clothes were scattered all over the room.
Ahona wanted to scream out loud, but her intense inner disgust stopped her. Without making any sound and without letting Abheek know, she walked out of there. The result of ten years of love and two years of marriage? With intense pain in her chest and total emptiness in her mind, she went straight to a famous pub in Colaba where her friend Riya was waiting.
Amidst the loud music of the pub, Ahona started swallowing one shot of vodka after another. Riya tried to stop her, but Ahona was in no mood to stop today.
"I will not return to that house tonight, Riya. I don't want to see the face of that thief and cheater," Ahona said in a slurred, drunk voice.
Riya understood that Ahona's mental condition was not good. She asked Ahona to come with her. But Ahona did not want to go; she wanted to be alone. So, Riya quickly booked a room in a reputed hotel nearby using an app on her phone. "Alright Ahona, you stay in this hotel tonight. I am dropping you off."
When Riya left Ahona in the hotel lobby, Ahona could not even stand straight. Her head was spinning, and her vision was blurry. The room number given by Riya was '404'. But after getting off the lift, in the dim light of the corridor, the drunk Ahona mistakenly entered room number '408', the door of which was slightly open for some reason.
The inside of the room was completely dark. Only the neon lights of the city coming from outside the window created a magical play of light and shadow on the floor. Unable to maintain her balance, as soon as Ahona pulled the door lock, she fell upon a strong, broad chest.
A man was standing there. It was midnight by the clock. He was not waiting for any blind date; rather, he was the victim of a deep conspiracy tonight. Someone had mixed a drug into his drink. Realizing that he was losing control over himself, he had hurriedly come to take shelter in this hotel room. Under the intense effect of the drug, his body was burning like fire, and his sense of right and wrong was almost zero. In the pitch darkness of the room, getting the scent of the expensive perfume from Ahona's body and the touch of her silk dress, the man, under the influence of the drug, could no longer hold back his primal instincts.
Without giving any opportunity to speak, those strong hands wrapped around Ahona’s waist and pulled her towards him. Ahona was so drunk that her groan was buried under the man's lips. The man pressed Ahona’s lips under his own in a very intense and possessive manner. He engaged in a primitive, wild kiss.
"Umm... let go..." Ahona tried to push the broad chest with both hands, but all the strength of her drunk body had vanished.
The man accepted no resistance. He pulled her hands from her waist, put them over her shoulders, and in a moment, lifted her up and threw her onto the soft bed behind. As she hit the bed, Ahona’s head spun even more. The man pressed down on Ahona with his heavy body. His mouth came down to her neck. With sharp teeth and lips, he began to kiss Ahona’s soft neck intensely.
"Please... listen... I..." Ahona’s groan was lost in the dark room.
The man's hands then came down from her collarbone and pressed upon her breasts. Even over the dress, he began to press her breasts with a tight grip. Ahona shuddered in pain and in an intense state of intoxication. The man reached for Ahona’s back and pulled the zipper of her dress down with a sudden tug. He loosened her top, almost removing it from her body.
After that, he gently turned Ahona over, placing her face down on the bed. Ahona’s fair, smooth back was now shining in the dim light of the darkness. The man wasted no time and unhooked her bra. As the bra strap loosened, he began to feel Ahona’s bare breasts with his large hands. Then, leaning over from the side, he took one breast into his mouth and began to suck it intensely.
"Ah... no..." Ahona gripped the bedsheet tight. Even though she tried to resist, her numb body could not do it.
The man came down from Ahona’s back and continuously kissed her navel, chest, and neck. He sucked near her neck in such a way that a deep love bite was left there. His hands moved down to Ahona’s smooth buttocks. Holding them tightly, he began to rub his hands there, as if a hungry tiger was enjoying its prey.
Biting her earlobe, the man wanted to whisper something, but his voice did not reach Ahona’s drunk ears clearly. Ahona's last inner resistance was breaking down. The man now pulled off the skirt Ahona was wearing with one tug and threw it away. As the touch of his hot hands reached Ahona's bare thighs, she shuddered. The man pressed Ahona's buttocks so hard with his strong hands that she cried out in pain.
Amidst this intense excitement, the man stood up straight and took off his trousers. He was now wearing only a pair of black boxers underneath. His well-built, muscular body looked like a Greek god even in the dark. He came back to the bed, gave Ahona one final kiss on her lips, and slowly began to move downwards.
Just as his hand fell upon the last undergarment of Ahona’s body and he went to pull it down a bit, suddenly, due to a fault in the hotel’s automatic master switch or for some other reason, all the sharp LED lights of the room turned on at once.
Both of their eyes were dazzled by the sudden bright light.
The man blinked and looked down, and Ahona also opened her blurry, drunk eyes somehow and looked upwards.
In the very next moment, the air in the room seemed to freeze into ice.
The 26-year-old youth with a well-built body leaning over Ahona was none other than—Ronjoy! The grave, powerful Ronjoy of the Chatterjee family, whom the whole family feared like a tiger.
And right in front of Ronjoy's eyes, lying half-naked and messy on the bed, was the 30-year-old Ahona, the wife of his uncle Rajen Chatterjee's younger son.
The primitive wildness in Ronjoy's eyes vanished in a second and was replaced by intense surprise and a strange, hard expression. The intoxication of the drug also seemed to clear up a bit, shocked by this extreme moment. He quickly stood up away from Ahona and stood beside the bed. His fair face had turned red by then.
Ahona shook off all the intoxication of alcohol inside her. Out of shame, humiliation, and terror, her heart was about to stop. She did not wait there for another moment. Springing up from the bed, she somehow put on her dress from the floor and ran out of the room frantically.
Running through the corridor towards her own room, Ahona felt that this rainy night in Mumbai had brought her life to such a turn from where there was no way back.
