Okay, so this is the first novel I have officially published. My biggest achievement in my 15 years of life. It would be terrible if it gets no popularity.
Full Story Synopsis
For as long as she can remember, Cordelia has known only hardship. Together with her younger sister, Cornelia, she struggles to survive in the bustling kingdom of Fantascia, where the wealthy live in comfort while the poor fight for every meal. Despite their circumstances, Cordelia refuses to give up hope of building a better life for them both.
One day, strange events begin to surround Cordelia. She experiences dreams of an endless ocean, hears voices calling her name from the depths, and finds herself connected to mysteries that no one can explain. At the same time, scholars, nobles, and secret organizations begin searching for ancient records that speak of an old prophecy.
The prophecy tells of a woman who will rise from the sea and become the greatest threat the surface world has ever faced. Many believe the prophecy is only a legend, but others fear it is beginning to unfold.
As Cordelia searches for answers about her past, she becomes caught in a dangerous struggle involving forgotten kingdoms, hidden powers, and long-buried secrets. Along the way, she meets allies who help her uncover pieces of the truth, while powerful enemies seek either to control her or destroy her before the prophecy can be fulfilled.
The deeper she ventures into the mystery, the more she learns that the world is far larger than she imagined. Ancient civilizations, magical relics, and conflicts that have lasted for centuries are all connected to her existence.
Each revelation forces Cordelia to make impossible choices. Every sacrifice she makes costs her something precious—her innocence, her trust, and eventually the peaceful future she once dreamed of sharing with Cornelia.
As political tensions rise and war threatens the kingdoms, Cordelia discovers that the prophecy may not describe an unavoidable fate but a future created by the choices of those around her. Fear, betrayal, greed, and ambition push her further toward the destiny everyone fears.
By the climax of the novel, Cordelia is forced to embrace the mysterious power connected to the sea in order to protect the people she loves. Although she succeeds in surviving, the victory comes at a devastating cost. She loses faith in the world that rejected and betrayed her.
The novel ends with Cordelia leaving behind the life she once knew and accepting the sea as her new home. The surface kingdoms celebrate the end of the immediate crisis, unaware that they have created the very person the prophecy warned them about.
What they believe is the end of the story is actually the beginning of a far greater conflict.
Years later, the child foretold by prophecy—Harry Skye, the one born of both worlds—will rise to face the woman Cordelia has become.
