A warm breeze welcomed the first day of college.
The campus was much larger than their old school, with towering buildings, green gardens, and students from different cities walking through the entrance with excitement and nervous smiles.
Ariana stood at the front gate, holding the silver cherry blossom pendant Elena had given her on graduation day.
She smiled to herself.
"A new beginning..." she whispered.
Just then, someone gently covered her eyes from behind.
"Guess who?" a familiar voice teased.
Ariana laughed.
"Only one person would do that."
Elena removed her hands and smiled brightly.
"Correct!"
The two laughed together, their happiness brighter than the morning sun.
"So," Elena asked, "are you ready for college?"
Ariana nodded confidently.
"This time, I'm not afraid."
They walked through the campus together, admiring the beautiful surroundings.
Students introduced themselves, clubs recruited new members, and professors welcomed the fresh faces.
