A group of college students are selected for an adventurous educational trip to Kaldara Hills, a beautiful but isolated place surrounded by dense forests, hidden valleys, waterfalls, and challenging trekking routes. For many of them, especially the hostel students, it is their first experience away from campus on such a thrilling journey.
Among them is Aditi, a quiet and introverted girl who usually keeps to herself. While others spend their time making reels, taking pictures, and enjoying the trip, Aditi often finds herself observing things that no one else notices. Her roommates couldn't be more different from her—Riya is loud, funny, and treats everyone like her "bro"; Kiara is obsessed with selfies and social media; Mehak is caring and emotional; and Sana believes everything can be explained logically.
The trip becomes even more exciting when their group frequently teams up with Aarav, Kabir, Naina, and Tanya. Together, they form an unlikely friendship during trekking, campfire nights, and various adventure activities.
Everything seems perfect until the local guide tells them about an abandoned trail deep inside the forest. According to old stories, people who enter the path often hear whispers calling their names. Most students laugh it off as a spooky tale made to entertain tourists.
But Aditi notices something strange.
During a trek, she discovers an old wooden sign hidden behind thick vines. The words carved on it are barely visible:
"The Whispering Trail."
That night, unusual incidents begin happening around the campsite.
Some students hear footsteps outside their tents.
Others hear voices that sound like their friends.
A few wake up claiming someone called their name from the darkness.
As fear slowly spreads through the camp, the students try convincing themselves that it is only their imagination.
Then one student disappears.
What begins as a fun college trip suddenly turns into a terrifying mystery.
Ignoring the warnings, Aditi and her friends decide to investigate. Following clues left behind by the missing student, they enter the forbidden trail hidden within the forest.
The deeper they travel, the stranger everything becomes.
Compasses stop working.
Phones lose signal.
The forest seems to change its paths.
And the whispers grow louder.
Soon the group discovers that the trail is hiding a decades-old secret connected to a group of students who vanished during a college expedition many years ago.
Now Aditi and her friends must uncover the truth before history repeats itself.
But the biggest question remains:
Are the whispers trying to help them...
or lead them to the same fate?
In a place where nothing is what it seems, friendship, trust, courage, and survival will be tested like never before.
