Arlina was an alpha female and Luke was an omega male. They just married a few months ago because arranged marriage of two conglomerate family. But they accepted it without much drama, grow closer by the time eventually.
Arlina was working in her study room, and suddenly, Luke walk inside her study room with angry face.
"Arlina! How dare you hung out with another omega!" Luke said. Actually Arlina just give him a ride because it was raining hard. Arlina just feel bad because she kept that omega worker worked until late. So she escorted him home.
"What are you talking about?" Arlina look up from her laptop. She look a little confused.
"I mean that omega you gave a ride home! You even took a picture with him and he even upload it on instagram!! You're so shameless!!" Luke yelled with a jealous tone.
"Picture? what picture? I just gave him a ride home bcoz it's raining heavily"
"Don't play innocent! I saw the picture!! You hugged him and you're even standing really close to him!" Luke yelled again while waving his phone in front of Arlina's face. He show Arlina the picture of her hugging the omega worker, Deon.
"Luke, I didn't hug him—I only gave him a pat on the shoulder after he deal with one of our clients fabulously" Arlina stood up, walking around her desk toward him. "And there's actually more than two of use in the photo, can't you see the cut over here?"
She gently took his wrists, lowering his phone. "I don't know why he did that and even posted it on his social media, I'll make sure to tell him to delete the post later. I'm sorry if that upset you…" Her voice softened as she pulled him into a careful hug. "C’mere, drama queen. You're all pouty and hormonal—and kinda adorable."
Luke let her pull him into the hug, his body still stiff with jealousy and anger. He couldn't help his annoyance.
"Don't call me adorable when I'm mad, I'm not a child" he grumbled against her shoulder.
He inhaled her scent, a mix of strong and soothing. It had a calming effect on his agitated mood. He leaned against her, finally giving in and wrapping his arms around her waist. Even though he was mad, he still craved her touch.
"Mmm, my grumpy little husband," Arlina murmured, one hand cradling the back of his head. "You’re *always* adorable—especially when you're jealous over nothing."
She pulled back just enough to meet his blue eyes, her thumb brushing his cheek.
"I only want *you*. You think I’d risk upsetting my pregnant omega with some random photo? Come on. You’re the only one I crave—here" —her hand gently rested on his lower belly— "and *here*." She tapped his chest softly.
"Now, how about we go warm up? Rain’s still pounding… and I know a certain clingy omega who loves being held while we watch stupid movies."
Luke tried to stay angry, but her touch and soothing words made him melt. He sulked, his pout deepening as he leaned into her touch.
"Just a stupid photo, you say?" he muttered, still a little jealous.
But he couldn't deny the warmth growing in his heart as she placed her hand on his belly and then his chest. He sighed, his anger slowly fading. "Fine. I guess cuddling and watching stupid movies does sound nice... And I'm not clingy."
Arlina pulled back slightly, and gave him a light peck on the lips. Her other hand caressing his cheek affectionately. Luke couldn't help but blushed at the kiss, his earlier anger completely dissolving.
"Yes... yes... you definitely are not clingy at all"
"You're mocking me," he mumbled, but there was no real heat in it.
He slipped his hand into hers, squeezing gently.
"Just... promise me no more pictures with other omegas. Even if it's for work." His voice softened, vulnerable beneath the jealousy.
"I'm hormonal and I worry... especially now." He placed her hand over his belly again—small but already holding their future.
Arlina gave him a soft smile and pulled him close again.
"I promise. It's only *you*, Luke. Always you," she whispered against his temple before leading him toward their bedroom—one warm step at a time through the stormy night outside.
