ok so literally every kid in my class is like a genius or smth they sit there solving math like its breathing they memorize chemistry equations like its song lyrics they look at physics questions and smile like they just met their soulmate and then theres me sitting in the same room like bruh what dimension did i land in
teacher asks question half the class has their hands raised before i even finish reading it meanwhile my brain is completely empty except when its about crime cases bc somehow i can remember every detail of a murder documentary i watched three months ago but cant remember one single biology diagram i studied yesterday
like ask me about mitosis and i go blank but ask me about how a detective caught a killer through one single hair found at the crime scene and suddenly my brain is running at 2000% processing speed like yes ur honor i have all the evidence
sometimes i think maybe im in the wrong field bc i clearly dont use my brain for science math formulas nope i use it for analyzing suspects motives alibis and crime timelines like some lowkey sherlock wannabe
but school doesnt care abt my crime podcast phd nope they just want me to pass these boring tests and honestly i dont even like studying it feels like torture my attention span left the chat years ago i open a book and instantly start yawning but open youtube and find a new unsolved case and boom im wide awake for 3 hrs straight
its unfair how all smart kids shine in class and im the side character doodling devils in my notebook listening to crime podcasts in my head while teacher explains integration like sorry sir im solving mysteries not equations rn
so yea maybe im not studious maybe i dont like studying maybe my brain only activates for crime cases anime action stories cookies and random chaos but thats just me
