*BOOM!!!"
The whole place blew up. Evander and I were also injured severely and on the verge of death.
*Cough*
Tyla's breath hitched, a ragged gasp that tasted of smoke and dust. Her ears rang, a high-pitched whine that drowned out the fading echoes of the blast. Through the swirling debris and the haze of pain, her eyes frantically searched.
"Hah..... Ven....." I dragged my body closer to him.
“Ven?” Her voice was a weak, trembling thread, barely audible above the groaning of collapsing structures.
A hand, rough and familiar, found hers. His grip was weak, but it was there. Relief, sharp and desperate, pierced through the agony.
“Lily,” he choked out, his voice thick with blood.
"Lily..... you're hurt"
"Silly.....mhmm....that was a.....bomb blast....how can we......be alright.....cough....cough.....after that."
As the death was approaching, I started remembering our life together.

(Flashback 1)
The empty auditorium echoed with the soft strains of a piano. Tyla and Evander were rehearsing a scene for the school musical, playing star-crossed lovers. The stage lights cast long shadows, creating an intimate atmosphere.
Evander, as Romeo, gazed at Tyla, his voice filled with a tenderness that made her forget they were just acting.
Tyla, as Juliet, blushed under his intense gaze. "Romeo! Where are you Romeo?" she said her lines.
As the scene progressed, their lines blurred into something more. When Evander's character was meant to take Juliet's hand, his touch lingered, sending a shiver down Tyla's spine. Their eyes locked, a silent conversation passing between them that had nothing to do with the script. The air crackled with unspoken energy.
The music swelled, and for a fleeting moment, lost in the roles and the shared emotion, it felt as though they were the only two people in the world. The line between performance and reality had beautifully, and romantically, dissolved.

(Flashback 2)
Evander looked at Tyla, his eyes reflecting the starlight. He gently took both her hands in his, his thumbs softly stroking her knuckles.
"Lily," he began, his voice a low murmur that the ocean seemed to hush itself to hear, "Do you remember the first time we met? You told me you felt like you'd known me your whole life. Well," he smiled, a warmth that outshone even the brightest star, "I feel like my life truly began at that moment."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box. Opening it, he revealed a delicate ring, its simple elegance mirroring her own.
"Lily, you are my best friend, my confidante, the laughter in my day, and the peace in my heart. I can't imagine another moment without you by my side. Will you make me the happiest man in the universe and marry me?"
I stared at him smiling with eyes filled with tears.
"Yes!! Oh Yes!! Thank you for coming in my life Ven." I confessed as he slid the ring on to my finger.
We shared a gentle kiss.
