*THUD*
"Ahhhh!!!" "Get up from me woman, you are so damn heavy" cried out Simon.
*CRASH*
"Ugh!" Alex crashed into the table.
*STUMBLE*
"Woah!" "Hm? I didn't get hurt. " Iris opened her eyes and saw that she was sitting on Nico.
Soon Sol teleported us back to base without any warning.
"Whoops!! I should have warned you."
"You all are back." Udonna came there, noticing the noise.
I hurriedly stood up. "Godmother this is Sol, she's the Guardian of Grimoire that has information about the antidote of Ileous."
Everyone became serious after hearing me.
"You are still holding out despite being in grave condition" said Sol as she looked at Udonna, who just smiled at her after hearing this.
"Do you really know how to defeat this toxin?" asked Gloria.
"Of course there is a solution but.....it comes with a grave price. A life for a life, that's what you have to pay with." replied Sol.
She continued "The person who will be giving an antidote to Udonna will have to absorb Ileous inside themselves and because it has been developing for years, the one who'll absorb it will turn into an evil creature."
Everyone got pale after hearing this. We looked at each other.
"I'll do it" Alex said suddenly.
"No let me do it" said Simon.
"It's better if I do it" replied Gloria.
"It's okay I'll go ahead" I said.
"Wait, I'll take the antidote" said Nico.
"Stop!! It's already decided who is going to give the antidote" interrupted Sol.
"The person who found the Grimoire is fated to do the sacrifice."
Everyone eyes widened as they looked towards me.
"Since it was Iris who found me and the Grimoire then she is the one who has to feed the antidote to Udonna and take the toxin within herself." explained Sol.
*Silence*
"Alright, I'll do it" I responded after a few minutes.
As soon as I said that, Nico grabbed my hand and dragged me towards his room then he shut the door with force.
*BANG*
He pinned me to the wall.
"HAVE YOU GONE CRAZY!!!! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!!!" he shouted.
"I'm the only one who can do this Nico" I replied calmly.
"Let me go, I'm going outside."
"No you are not" he picked me up and threw me on the bed harshly.
I was going to get up but he used his flames to burn my shirt.
*Gasp*
I used my hands to hide my upper body.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING NICO?" I shouted at him
"I'm not letting you out of here." he said as he hovered over me then sealed my lips with his.
"Mmphf...." he didn't give me any opportunity to speak.
"Ugh" I used a tiny spark of lightning to give him a shock.
As soon as his hand loosened, I pushed him and ran towards the door. Suddenly there was a wall of fire between me and the door.
"Where do you think you are going looking like that?" he grabbed my hand and pinned me on the bed then kissed me.
"Mmm!!!" His tongue doing wonders with mine. 'Gosh his kisses are just so... No wait.'
"Leave me Nico, we don't have much time left." I struggled.
"YOU WILL DIE"
"You will die if you do that" his eyes became teary and he hugged me tightly.
"Don't you know that if you transfer Ileous to yourself then you will die." he said hoarsely.
"We don't have any other choice" I said and patted his head.
"Why did you have to go in that dimension? If I would have known earlier I wouldn't have let you step in there." his tears kept flowing and then fell on my neck scorching it.
"It's not your fault and didn't Sol say that it was already fated that I will go there." I felt a lump in my throat but controlled myself from crying.
He didn't say anything and just hugged me, so tightly that I was feeling as if I would get crushed but I kept quiet and after sometime we fell asleep.
