Sunshine poured in from the window and fell on the girl who was sleeping soundly in the arms of the man who was her heaven. She was looking like a fairy who has descended on earth. The man woke up long ago, but he just kept staring at her quietly, not wanting to disturb her after a long night.
"Hmm" the girl stirred in her sleep as if waking up and her eyelashes fluttered open. The man got lost in her beauty. Her silver white locks of hair spread behind her and her white eyelashes quivered as they opened revealing her aquamarine eyes that were like a vast ocean in which he was ready to drown.
"Good morning hubby" she whispered softly.
"It's afternoon darling" he said and gave a peck on her cheek.
"What !" she exclaimed and sat up straight.
*Gasp!* she flinched feeling her aching waist. "You beast" she mumbled.
"Only for you" he got up from the bed and carried her to the bathroom. Then he helped her freshen up, and they had their breakfast together.
"Get ready we are going out" he said once they finished their breakfast.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"Surprise" he smiled and looked at her.
She stood up excited and went to change her clothes.
*Click Clack* the voice of her heel echoed as she descended from the stairs.
Theodore turned around and got lost in her beauty. He came back to his senses when she finally stood in front of him.
"My beautiful Millie" he said and kissed her forehead.
She gave him a shy smile.
"Let's go" he held her hand, and they walked away.
They enjoyed their whole day. Starting from shopping, movies, night markets, etc.
They reached a private garden.
"It's so beautiful Theo" she said and turned around happily, but her smile vanished upon realizing that she was alone.
"Theo!" she called out to him.
"Hubby!! Where are you?"
"Theodore!!!!"
Just as she was panicking the whole garden lit up with beautiful fairy lights.
"Happy Birthday Millie" came a whisper as two strong arms hugged her waist from behind.
"Do you like it?" he asked looking at her excited expression.
"Hmmm" she nodded like a kid. There were small drones blowing bubbles that were floating around, beautiful flowers and soft music was playing.
She turned around and hugged him "Thank you Hubby, it's gorgeous."
"Let's have dinner" he held her hand and led her to the table where a candlelight dinner was prepared.
After the dinner was done, he handed her a box.
"What's this?" she asked curiously.
"Your Birthday gift" he smiled at her. "Open it."
She opened it and her breath got caught in her throat.
"So pretty!!!" she exclaimed, seeing a gorgeous crystal locket lying in it.
Theodore came and helped her in wearing it. "This is the key to Valeria Palace" he said as he gestured towards the locket.
"It's the biggest gemstone museum in the world with all types of precious gemstones available in it. It's yours now." he explained.
"Thank you" Medea jumped on him and hugged him.
"Careful Millie" he said as he caught her.
"Let's go home, tomorrow evening we'll go on vacation." Theodore said to her.
They went home and slept. Then the next morning he went to his company to settle some work.
Medea woke up and saw that the place next to her was empty. She got up and took a bath then ate her breakfast.
Afterwards she opened her laptop and clicked on a hidden app. As soon as the app opened, an interface with a black skull appeared which read "Dark Net". She logged into her account as 'Nyx' and saw a new mission about stealing the key of "Valeria Palace." Many people had taken the mission and most of them were in the top fifty of the hunting list. She registered herself and then closed the laptop after logging out.
'It'll be a good idea to kill these rats' she thought as a dark glint flashed in her eyes.
(In the 'MT' company's CEO cabin)
A man with his face hidden in the dark was sitting with a cold face. His body emitting a chilling aura that caused everyone else in the room to shiver.
"Find out who all took the mission for 'Valeria Palace' and send the list to me." he ordered his assistant.
"Yes Hades" replied the assistant and then went out.
Others were still trembling because of fear.
*Ring*
A sound of a phone ringing came. Everyone panicked wondering who is going to die next for disturbing the man. Just then they saw the person sitting in the shadow, take his phone and answer it.
"Theo when will you reach home? Won't we get late?" came a sweet voice through the phone.
"I'll be there in a while Millie" the man replied gently, causing the staff present in the room to go into shock.
'Boss you can talk softly!!!!'
'No way is this an imposter!!!!' They all thought.
