The sky was gloomy, it looks like it's about to rain. I grabbed my coat and purse and went out. I slid into my car and began to drive. It's been a week since I broke up with my boyfriend. It's still so hard to swallow the fact that he cheated on me with my cousin. And when things were caught red handed, he left me with her. I sighed and rested my head on the steering wheel. It's terrible these days. All the beautiful memories with him keep coming to my mind and I can't erase it. I shifted the gear and drove faster as the signal showed green light.
I spilled into the parking area as I reached my destination. I've been coming to this bar for the past few days to drink and pass out. I got out of my car and went inside. It was unusually packed and mostly it was girls, wearing body fit short outfits and swaying their hips according to the music playing in there.
I took a seat and placed my order. I'm not a big drinker but I desperately needed something to shift my mind. The bar attender placed my drink before me and smiled. "Can I ask you something?", I asked after taking a tiny sip from my drink. "Of course, what is it darling?", he said leaning forward.
"Why is this place extra crowded today?"
"Oh, a special guest is coming today"
"May I know who it is?"
"It's Felis Moreau, a famous artist from Europe"
"What's so special about it?"
"He looks devastatingly handsome and just like a guy straight out of fictions", he said with great enthusiasm.
"I see.... Can I get my glass filled? The same."
"You seem uninterested", he said and turned away with my glass.
I'm interested in nothing these days. I've no appetite these days. I'm lost and I don't care about anything these days. I've nothing to lose. I sighed again feeling heavy inside.
He placed the glass in front of me and looked straight into my eyes. His eyes were gleaming beneath the yellow light.
"Now tell me what's happening in your life... You seem sad", he said, gently rubbing my hands.
"It's nothing"
"I'm willing to hear if you are ready", he said softly and pressed his lips against my hand.
I filled my lungs and slowly, bit by bit began to spill every nook and corner of my breakup story.
He listened carefully, all attention on me. He heard the whole story without interrupting me.
"Omg.. He's here girls... Run if you wanna see him...", I heard a girl behind me scream and soon ran towards the private room.
"Why don't you go look?", he asked
"I'm not interested"
"Just go look"
Naahh... And a big thanks for hearing my whole drama. I appreciate your patience", I said and he smiled. "It's my pleasure".
He brought me another drink and I gulped it down within seconds.
"Can I kiss you?"
"Huhh??"
"I'm soo sorryy that drink made me ask that", I slightly laughed.
His eyes were on mine. His gaze slowly shifted to my lips. And before I know our lips collided.
Fast and furious. Tasting each other like there's no tomorrow. His tongue diving into my mouth and we kept kissing. I grabbed his hair and pulled him closer but the counter never let us come closer.
As we melt into the kiss, a hand gently tapped him, and our lips separated. I was breathing heavily and my lips felt numb but the kiss..... It was beyond amazing.
I looked up to see someone standing in front of me, quickly I glanced at the bar attender. He had become a frozen sculpture, eyes wide open and mouth parted.
"Sir.. Sir what can I do for you?", he asked, scared.
"Just do your job, that's enough. If I see you making out with any of my customer again... You'll be fired", he stated in a tough voice, which made me shiver.
"I won't sir"
"Good"
He turned to me, his eyes scanning me. He grabbed my wrist and took me away with him. I was confused, I looked back to see the bar attender staring back at me.
What's happening, who is this tall and well-dressed guy? And where is he taking me to and... Why are there people in black suits around him? The girls are staring at me. Almost all the eyes were on me.
Am I in trouble?
