Chapter 6: Path?
Hanz felt someone approaching when he was seated outside the Tree House and looking up at the stars. When he turned around, he could see the Master Keeper approaching him.
The Master Keeper greeted Hanz, saying
"Good evening, Hanz," in a steady, quiet voice.
Hanz jumped up in shock at the Master Keeper's close proximity to him.
"Master Keeper, how are things tonight?"
"Yes, everything is good, but I wanted to talk to you about your training," Master said.
Hanz experienced a moment of excitement. The Master Keeper had always kept his distance, despite the fact that he had always longed to learn directly from him. That appeared to be about to change now.
Hanz responded eagerly,
"I'm ready to learn, Master Keeper.
Master Keeper gave a nod.
"Good. From now on, I will be your teacher."
Hanz's heart leapt with joy, but he was careful to keep his emotions in check.
"Thank you, Master Keeper. I am honored."
The Master Keeper's eyes flickered with approval.
"You are a quick learner, Hanz, and you have great potential. But you must also learn to control your powers. They are a double-edged sword, and if not wielded carefully, they can be dangerous."
Hanz nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"I will be mindful, Master Keeper."
The Master Keeper looked at Hanz, his gaze intense.
"I have seen your true potential, Hanz. You have a destiny, a purpose that goes beyond mere survival. You are worthy to be a prootector, like me."
Hanz's heart skipped a beat. He had always felt a sense of purpose, but he had never imagined that he could be a Protector like the Master Keeper.
"I... I don't know what to say, Master Keeper,"
Hanz stammered, overwhelmed by the enormity of the idea.
The Master Keeper placed a hand on Hanz's shoulder, his grip firm and reassuring.
"You will learn, Hanz. I will teach you everything you need to know. But first, we must focus on your training."
Hanz nodded, feeling a sense of awe and determination wash over him. He knew that he had much to learn, but with the Master Keeper as his teacher, he was ready for anything.
"Thank you, Master Keeper. I am ready to begin my training."
