If only one wish of yours would come true then what would you have asked for? -They asked.
Some people said that they want to be rich.
Some people said that they want their loved ones back.
And some other people said they want to do the dream job of their lives.
But if you ask me what my wish is I will say I wanna be the carefree kid again.
I want to live my childhood again.
Remember?
When we were small how carefree we were?
We had nothing to worry about.
When we used to make mistakes our parents used to clap for us and encourage us to try again. They used to say, 'she is learning it. Let her make mistakes. If she doesn't make mistakes, how will she learn?'
I want that positive attitude toward me again.
Remember?
When we used to get up alone on the bed we used to start crying because we were scared of being alone.
And even before a few minutes could pass, a pair of big hands would have held us with motherly love and taken us in their embrace.
How patient they were when we used to cry for some mere chocolates and ask tons of silly questions!
Remember?
When we came back home on the first day of our school how much loved they make us feel.
I want all of these again. I want to recall how precious I am.
The sense of being loved and appreciated is what I crave.
At some point in our lives, we all crave to go back to our childhood leaving behind all the bad memories that have given us nothing but depression, anxiety, and trauma.
And at that very moment, we all realize that we all have grown up.
