Once there were two little boys . Wu and Garmadon looked exactly alike but Wu was blonde and Garmadon was brunette. At age sixteen, Wu told a story to Kai who was standing right in front of him. Kai had messy brown hair, brown eyes and a stunningly beautiful face. They wore the same white dress. “We’re brothers we fought all the time,” Wu said. “Over plenty of things… such as our dolls.” “Why your dolls?” Kai asked. “You have so many of them.” “He just liked to fight,” Wu said. “Maybe he didn’t care about me.” “I.. I don’t think that’s true,” Kai said turning around to face him. They sat on the bed. Kai tried to touch Wu’s hand, but it was cold. They stood back up. “I wanted to give you this,” he said. Kai turned around with his hand to his heart. “Why are you giving me this?” Kai asked. “I thought it would look best on you,” Wu said. Kai turned around and hugged him. He felt Kai’s warmth on his skin.
The Smith twins were different from the Garmadons. They never fought. All of the ninja envied Kai’s beauty. Kai looked at pictures of Garmadon and Wu when they were kids. He smiled at the memories of them playing dolls then reached for his stomach caressing it. He had been pregnant for nine months. Nya was on her phone in a different room than her heavily pregnant brother. She heard screaming. She ran into Kai’s room. He was holding a pastel pink blanket. “Nya come here,” Kai said. “Isn’t she pretty?” “Of course she is,” Nya said. “She looks exactly like you.” “Go to Jay,” Kai said. “And tell him he’s the father.” “What the..” Nya said. “Please tell him,” Kai said. He looked at his daughter and kissed her head.
A few days later Wu looked at a dead body. It was Garmadon’s body found dead on the floor. Wu smiled looking at it. Someone came in and fainted. “Kai?” Wu said. He came towards Kai. He took the napkin off his face. But the sleeping beauty wasn’t Kai. He glanced at his face. It wasn’t Kai’s face… it was Jay’s. Jay also had a beautiful face. But the expression while he slept was tragic and depressed.
