*bang *bang *bang
I was startled because of the loud bamging on my door. I immediately looked at my phone to check the time. It was 1 am.
"Who the hell disturb my sleep at this hour?"
I get out of my room heard the banging again. This time it is louder and it came from the main door.
"Wait the f*ck up!" I shouted causing it to stop. banging the door.
'Is it my brother?' Maybe because he is still not home.
He is really a headache. Going out clubbing with friends and going home at the middle of the night disturbing my previous sleep.
'Just you wait and I'll make sure you'll hear a mouthful from me.'
The moment I reached the main door, I felt like hesitating for a moment if I'll open it or not.
'Well.. whatever. I'll just open it.'
"Why the hell are you banging my-" My eyes widened the moment I opened the door. It was not my brother.
I think a greek god emerge and came to my humble home. A tall and handsome man is standing outside my door.
"I am Law Sylvester. I am the prince of Vearth and it is an honor for you that I chose your home to be my abode while I am here on Earth."
'Huh? Is he.. Is he sick in the head?'
"Move." I unconsciously moved aside allowing him to enter.
'Wait? Why the fuck I am obeying him? He is a total stranger and obviously has some mental problems!'
But I think my body is moving on its own. I closed the door and led him to the living room. He sat at the sofa as if this is his house. Wow. Unbelievable.
"Who.. who the hell are you?" Phew.. Thank god I manage to utter those words.
"Stupid Earthling."
'S-stupid earthling? M-me?'
"Hey-"
"I told I am Law Sylvester and I am the prince of Vearth."
Okay. That's it! He is really sick and I need to call 911!
All my life I never heard of a place called Vearth. This man is crazy. I can't believe I just let a crazy person enter my house!
I turned my back on him walk towards the telephone. I was about to grab it but my eyes widened when the telephone suddenly flung and slammed on the wall.
"It seems you don't believe me." I slowly turned to where the voice is coming from.
"Did you..Did you do it?"
"Who else would do it? I am the only one capable of doing that."
Shit! I need to run- Huh? I can-t move my body! What's happening?
"Calm down and listen to me earthling or else you'll be stuck there until I planted in that small brain of yours my purpose of being here."
I took a deep breathe. "Fine. Im calm now."
I felt like something heavy has been removed from my body. I can move now!
If I run away now, maybe he'll do something again so I can't move. I sighed sharply before walking towards the sofa and sat there meters away from him.
He explained to me everything and I think he is right that I really have a small brain because I can't seem to process and understand all the information he told me.
Vearth is a neighboring planet of Earth. They have thos uncanny similarities that you would mistook them as twin planets. The only difference is their technologies. Earth is 100x far behind their technology, but it seems that Vearth is an invisible planet because until now no one has discovered it.
They always watch the Earth and its progress but they were disappointed because Earthling have been so selfish as the time passes by. Eaten by greed we build infrastractures, mining the natural resources but still they can't see any progress. We are just continuing to destroy the Earth. So they decided to send Law to destroy the Earth.
So to simplify it, Law is what we call an alien. He is here to destroy the Earth but upon arriving here, he decided to stay here for 60 days and he will give the Earth a chance if he can see any changes to the people within that span of time.
They are right. People nowadays doesn't care about the Earth anymore. Everyone is now focus on social media. Every move they make is being posted in social media. While bussinessmen only care about the bussiness and money. Sad to say, Earth is dying and this aliens wanted to give its death. Even so, I just can't let him destroy the Earth.
I took a glance at the arrogant alien in front of me.
I think my whole life has been a lie. Aliens are supposed to have big, round heads, bright eyes, green complexion, stick-like bodies and long legs. Then why the hell does he have bright red lips, hawk eyes, white complexion, and perfectly pointed nose?
Urgh! In 60 days Earth will be gone and yet I still have the time admiring the one who will destroy it?
"I know Im handsome earthling so stop staring at me and cook me food. Im hungry."
"My name is Belinda. So stop calling me earthling." I corrected him.
"Whatever. You're still a stupid earthling."
All my life, I've been living with my brother. He goes out a lot, going home late, not studying, always late or absent at school, I was sometimes called to the guidance office because he is involved in fights. In short he is a headache, but I manage to maintain my patience with him.
And yet I just realized, that my brother is the only person I can maintain my patience with.. because this arrogant bastard is pissing me off. I want to kick his ass if it not for the sake of the Earth. Im just afraud if I pissed him off, he will suddenly destroy the Earth right now.
'Just you wait! I'll definitely look for a chance to kick your ass off back to your stupud Vearth!'
