Who didn't know that we develop a technology since the dark age? As a kid, I know that world is brighter with technology since I live with a modern technology such as telephone, computer, tablet and most of all, the internet.
Hi my name is Afif and this is my story✨.
Everybody think that a sixteen years old boy couldn't take care of himself and need to rely on others. Since I can't pay for my own items, I kinda agree with it. My mother is a single parent and hardly give an attention on me since she be working all the time just to keep me alive.
I hate to rely on others, I always hoping that I'm smart enough to rely on myself since I have seen my mother work until she collapse. I'm afraid that she will die someday and I will be totally alone. I personally hate that, I have seen her puke a blood and it make me scared.
And a thing about me, I'm a autism. I can't focus on certain things but I can control myself now.
One day when I was walking home from school, i pass by a television that showing a news about an asteroid coming to earth. They say that we shouldn't panic since it's only gonna give us a small damage and the asteroid will land at Winchester lake and doesn't make a huge impact but there was a small amount of people that are scared and moved to another town.
Waking up from sleep, I found the world a bit strange. There were a lot of things caught on fire, people smash all the technology that they seen, it almost like they become superstitious and believe technology is an evil power that lead to the end of human race. They going rampage and keep yelling that God speak to them telling to destroy every little technology near them.
It doesn't matter how old they are, I see that they broke every technology near them. I never seen a little girl broke her phone with hammer while mad before. It kinda strange to see all of that and it made me scared like I never been before. I ran as fast as I could when I seen a man trying to smash my headphones that I wear. I can't focus if I can't listen to them. He insisted that I have been possessed by the technology.
Everything destroyed that day and I got traumatized to be outside, luckily I still alive and my headphone still works. I never think that anyone have complain about technology before in my entire life.
It have been one week since they leave the town, I stay in the town waiting for my mom or anyone that doesn't wanna kill me came to save me. When I'm passing through a mart trying to get a food to be eaten, I heard someone talking and it scare me. The person know I'm there and tried to find me.
