shirley eyed the man who was sleeping soundly on the bed. she stood up and walk into the bathroom.
Duane woke up and saw the space beside him empty.anger sprouted inside his heart.after dressing up for the days work, he walk out of the mansion while his assistant followed behind. Leo felt tensed when he saw his boss with an aloof expression.
"where's shirley?" he ask grimly. "she left an hour ago". Duane tilt his head and buttoned his sleeve nonchalantly. "lets go". he said and walk towards the garage.
Shirley puke inside the hospital restroom. her hair falling to the sides of her face as she empties all the contents in her stomach. A nurse came into the restroom and said
"Ms, your prescription is ready".
Shirley rinse her face and mouth and then fix her hair into a bun before stepping out of the restroom with a grave look on her face. she took the contraceptive pill the moment it was given to her.
her mind drift back to the day she met duane. it was one month ago under the rain when she ran away from home.she was about to cross the road when a running car came to a screeching halt.
When she saw the man,it was love at first sight for her. Returning home the next morning, she was thrown out and no where to go except the man who helped her that night.
it was too late when she realized she has fallen too deep and down for him. he did not love her.
"Ms Miles don't worry, your secret is safe with me" the head doctor said and held shirley on her shoulder as they walk out of the ward. shirley smiled and rest her head on doctor Louise shoulder.
Her smile shattered when she saw Duane approaching from the opposite direction.
Doctor Louise felt the girl turn stiff but didn't bother to ask. soon shirley stopped walking and Louise was taken aback.
"what is it shirley?". she ask worriedly. Looking at the direction the girl with pale face was looking at, she saw the famous multi millionaire. Duane Hamilton. she frowned and look at shirley, "don't tell me that's the man". she said with surprise all over her face. swiftly, shirley hid behind her.
Duane came to stand at their front with a scowl on his face.
"what are you doing here?" he ask staring at the girl intently. shirley eyes met his and it shifted to look at the woman at her front.
"Doctor Louise" he called the woman who now look worried. "I guess you don't value your job here". he said and walk towards shirley...
