"I keep falling in love with the same face of a man every time I woke up in a different world. We were living in two different timelines. Be it the past or the future, his features never changed. He was an immortal."
Thinking that everything is a dream, the young woman tried to live as best as she could. Hiding as a slave, pretending to be a noble, trying to snatch a queen's throne, running away from her own wedding...
All were in vain because she always ended up in that handsome man's embrace.
Wearing her wedding dress, she is curled up under the sheets while being tied. She is telling a story to her friend who had no choice but to hold her before the wedding she planned to ran away from. "Help me escape," her plea melted her friend's heart.
In one world, while she was running from her master, she stumbled upon a dying man. She didn't know he was the man called 'killer of the century' in the empire. She fell in love and they had children but she died in his own hands even if they promised to be together forever. Not knowing why he did it, she was back in her own world.
In her next life, she was a homeless nobody picked up by a masked duke. She was trapped under a curse. The masked man tailored her to become his weapon against the enemy, the lord whom she met in her previous time-travel. Thinking she was played by the lord in her previous life, she hurt him by bearing the masked man's child, his nemesis and twin brother.
Again, she died by her lover's hands under her husband's spell. For the third life in another world where snatching a throne is normal as long as you have the power and means to do so, she did everything with her family's wealth just to ascend the throne.
When she announced for a selection of her groom, all eligible bachelors under her standards gathered in the throne room. She met the very same man who killed her twice. He didn't look much different but his eyes were so lonely. Then, he disappeared when she selected him as the groom.
In that world, she committed suicide and returned to her own world. One day, the day of her set wedding, a mysterious diary appeared on her doorstep. The handwriting was elegant yet it had so many erasures.
Her friend ended up marrying the guy she was about to marry. For her friend loved the man but the man did not care who he was going to marry.
--The Diary --
'Rin, forgive me. I can't let you go but I don't want you to turn into an evil being. I had to kill you. If there is another life, I will follow you shortly.' The woman realized that it was her first life in another world. The life she regretted meeting 'him'.
'You were angry with me. I'm sorry. But I was hurt when you bore my other self's child. He wasn't my twin brother. I have no relative and he was only a part that I cast away. I didn't know he would use you. I'm sorry. I can't stop wanting to see you.' This was written in her second life after she died in that world.
'I was joyed when you chose me to be your groom. I had to find a way to stop this loop of tragedy. I had to leave you.' As fresh as yesterday, this confession cleared her clouded mind.

Tears began to form slowly, until she sniffed. Then, muffled sobs followed. She bit her lower lip and instead of crying, she wiped her tears and took a deep breath.
"No more. I don't want to go back. I don't want to get hurt anymore!" she woman shouted at the top of her lungs on the rooftop. Rain began to fall and the floor became slippery. She removed her veil and stepped on it.

'Rin, if I can see you, I'll make sure not to let you go,' a man is lost in deep thoughts while gazing in the night sky. Suddenly, a transparent, mirror-like portal appeared before his eyes. The face he longed to see showed up. As if his wishes came true, he never hesitated nor thought twice as he reached out to her. Dream or not, as long as he can hold her, he crossed the portal by all means.

"Seih, you're...here," the woman who almost fell to her death was appalled as she gazed intently. She slipped but a strong hand grabbed her to prevent her from falling. "You're here," she mumbled and continued to cry.
The Bloodthirsty Lord wiped her cheek with his warm fingers before planting a quick kiss on her open mouth. "You can't escape from me. Never," he whispered while tucking her hair behind her ear.
"No, you can't. I won't let you be misunderstood anymore. I promise. Just...stay with me..." Rin slowly let go, realizing that she is only a mortal with limited lifespan.
"I will if you let me. I have nowhere to go. And my life force was almost drained when I crossed into your world. We'll live together as long as we are alive. For a thousand years, I couldn't die even if I wanted to. Now, I want to spend the remaining 50 years full of bliss."
