As i was studying in my room , i heard someone was knocking at the door . So i went to open the door , as i was on the way my phone start to ring and on the screen my roommate names was there . I pick up the call and went to open the door which was knocking continues . I answer ,"hello! Jack".(jack was the name of the roommate ). i reach at the door and was about to open it then jack shout on the phone,"jim!! Don't open the door ". Up on hearings that i was confuse and ask,"why ?". Then from the other side of the door i hear jack voice ," jim ! It's me , jack hurry up and open the door". Then the jack on the phone said,"jim , don't open the door , that's not me , don't listen to him ". with confuse i ask,"is this a prank or something ,jack if it's then It's not funny". Jack(on the phone),"jim , it's not a prank and pleases don't open the door otherwise it may kill you ". Just hearing the word 'KILL' gave me goosebumps , i was unable to think as it so confusing . I had no idea who is real and who isn't . I was in deep thought then suddenly jack (outside the room)said,"jim! Hurry up what is taking you so long and why aren't you answering my call". I had no idea what to do one
is saying to open it while the is saying to not . So then i decide to answer the jack who is outside ," jack , is that really you?". I get the reply but not from the one i ask , jack on the phone answer ,"jim , it's really me so don't open the door , i will be there soon". After some time the knocking on the door stop . I tried to call jack but it was not connected ,so i sat on the sofa and start to think about the things that happened just now . I was still unable to guess who was the actual jack . Then i saw the time it was 10 pm and then i start to recall the things that happen few hours before jack went outside , i was sitting in the living room watching movie as jack was getting ready to go outside . After some time , jack came to the living room and said,"jim , i am going to simone's house ". I ask while still focus on the tv ,"when you will come back".jack answer ,"its 5 now ,so at 9:30 or after". I agreed and continue to watch while jack went .
*flash back end*
i strat to think that he (jack) had told me that he will be back at 9:30 then the person knocking can be jack?or if he was late then person on the call can be jack?. Then suddenly a question came to me that why was jack warning on the phone?and what connection does jack have with the person outside?or the jack on the phone is not the real jack and outside is?, then again i try to call jack but he was not answering his call , i began to worry , so i went to door and look through the peephole and saw jack laying on the floor motionless. I was about to open the door , a doubt came to me as if the jack outside is not the real and acting to be lifeless , but then i said to myself wheather its him or not , i have to see if he 8s safe or not .
With that on my mind , i open the door and went near jack. I check it wheather he was still breathing or not , he was . So, i carry him inside the room and put him on the sofa ,then again i check his boby to look for any injures , luckily nothing was there . I try to wake him up but he seem to be in deep sleep . I went to his room and came out with pillow and blanket , i cover him with the blanket and put his head over the pillow . Then i went to my room and lay on the bed and start to think what is happening as i got call from jack saying not to open the door as he wasn't the one there while from outside , jack's voice came saying to open the door . I kept thinking about it but i don't find any answer ,after some time i fell sleep.
The next morning , i woke up and went to the living room to check on jack . To my surprise i don't find him there , so i thought he went back to his room so i went to his room . I knock at the door but no one answer so i knock again and start to call jack ,"jack !if you are in there hurry up and open the door". Then the door open but jack wasn't the one who open it . It was will ,"jim!what hell happen to you ?why are you shouting early morning ". I was confuse as why was will doing in jack room ?and where was jack?.then i ask,"will !where is jack?". Hearing my question , will ask me with a confusing look,"who is jack?". My mind went blank , who can this happen , i was confuse and lost that i fainted . When i woke up i found myself inlaying ona hospital bed . I saw will sitting near me , i ask will,"will, do you really don't know jack ?".will answer with a nod and i don't ask any futher .
It had been 2 years after the incident and i decide to forget about it , living my life in peace .... But one rainy day someone knock on my door and after opening the door ,i was shock to see the person........
