#Story Relay Event
I was typing away on my laptop at work, finishing up the sales presentation for tomorrow's meeting. It was still late afternoon and my shift is about to end. "Hey, Mendoza! Richter just said that he'll treat the entire team for dinner at Queenie's this evening. You wanna come with?" My coworker, Evan York, asked me. "I'll have to pass on that one. I have to finish thing by tomorrow. My shift is also almost done. I'm going to head home to do some last minute touches on the presentation. Maybe next time?" I replied with a shrug. He blinked, "Huh. You're pretty hard working today. But sure, maybe next time!" He then turned away to talk to our other coworkers. I shook my head at the nonchalant attitude of York. I then checked the time to see that my shift is done. I sighed as I stretched my arms and legs before cleaning up. "See you tomorrow!" I called out as I left.
I walked through the streets and towards my favorite coffee shop. It was a small and confronting environment with not much customers. It was pretty far from a crowded area so it was a given. I took the turn to humming a tune as I go through the same path I take to the café. Then suddenly, a large scaly creature with murky brown skin crashed in front of me, with a woman on top of it, a sword stabbed through the creature's arm. "Huh?"
