Ivey woke up today like any other day

She walks right past the meat market and continues towards the man.
She wanted to see who had this fancy carriage and what he looked like from the front.
As she walks closer, the two horses are calming down.
The man now rubbing their faces.
There, there, it's alright.
You two couldn't let me be inconspicuous, could you? He says sarcastically
His voice sent a chill down her spine
She had never heard such an attractive voice.
She got nervous, remembering her pact to stay away from men.
She would just look and then go back to finish her shopping.
She was only a few steps away from him. She puts her head down and pretends to read the list aloud, trying to seem busy.

The butcher who saw her walk past called down to her.
She froze.

And her face went blank as If she had seen a ghost.
She was mesmerized, and the fear escaped her body.

She blinked repeatedly after realizing she is standing there staring at this man who is looking directly back at her.

The butcher calls.
Noticing the man who was staring blankly back at Ivey, he recognized him.
Good morning, you're majesty, the butcher says taking a bow.

Neither of them looks away to acknowledge the butcher.

She slowly turns around and goes back to the meat shop.
Walking faster, the closer to the shop she got.
