Everything around me is changing as I am growing up. Now people do not tell my parents How cute their daughter is, but they ask how much marks she is scoring in her exams? how she is performing in her class? is she first in her class or just mediocre?
Once a sweet and cute girl liked by all now has become an object of amusement for people around her, they talk about what her character is? how is she behaving in front of boys? how much is the length of her skirt and all ridiculous things which she never in her dream thought that people will talk about.
She must start working now everyone expect her to do a job which will get her lots of money, but no one cares if she is happy in doing that job or not, they just want her to get a respectable job and marry some guy her family think is okay for her.
This is what growing up for a girl means in this society, but they challenge the society to become something and achieve their goals in life and that is what real growing up for girl is.
