It's already past eight in the morning but the inside room of the pad still appears dark. What could apparently be seen only are streaks of light that escapes through the beautiful drapery which hangs behind the two large window glass. And other than that, a taunting, incessant sound of an alarm could be heard on one corner, almost echoing the silence that envelopes the place.
Andrea who was quite annoyed by the sound already, reached out for the clock and set it off, barely opening her eyes though. For a moment, she just sit there on her bed and stare blankly at the small clock that sits on the table beside it.
tick. tock. tick. tock.
Time: 8:47
She yawned at the sight of the clock.
"Oh, it's eight forty-seven.." She muttered.
tick. tock. tick. tock.
"Eight forty-seven.." she repeated.
She continued to stare at the clock more than she intended to and unlike the first one, this time it was as if she was trying to put back together the pieces of a puzzle - drawing in closely in her mind a single thought she could not figure out as of the moment.
tick. tock. tick. tock.
tick. tock. tick. tock.
She gasped.
Then bam! Realization hits her, both palms are in her face.
Oh no, no no! In her head.
She's late for their rehearsal today!
"Dang it."
