When I was little, my mom would always take me and my little sister to our garden and she would always sing us beautiful songs. I had many great memories of her and she was my inspiration to my dream. I wanted to be just like her in every way. As I got older I started singing a lot and I even earned money from doing it on the street or in the park. My biggest dream was to be able to sing on a competition show like Americas got talent or something like that. When I was 17 I got a job at a coffee shop downtown, my mom would always come to get a coffee and sometimes if it wasn’t busy we would sit together and talk. She would always tell me how proud she was of me and she told me to always follow my dreams no matter what. At the time I didn’t quite get what she meant or why it was important but now, I’m really glad she said those things to me, if she hadn’t I probably wouldn’t be as famous as I am today. A few years ago I got a call from our local hospital and I found out my mother was in a car accident and she was struggling to stay alive. After I heard this I rushed to the hospital, only to find out that she died 3 minutes before I got there, I was devastated. After I got home from the hospital, I cried so much and I was thinking about giving up my dreams because my mom was my inspiration and without her how would I do it?! I still sang a little but it was nothing much and I never played my guitar. My sister did everything she could to cheer me up but nothing would work. She told me to start playing my guitar again but I wouldn’t because it only made me more sad than before. About 4 weeks after my mothers death I started both singing and playing again, but I was still sad. One night I was my guitar and singing a song a wrote and my sister heard me so she made a video without me knowing and she posted it on social media. A few days later she got news that a lot of big time singers wanted me in their show! My sister told me and I was very excited!! About a month later we did the show and I sang a song me and my mom wrote when I was little. After I sang, the judges tallied up the votes and I had won!! This was the best day of my life! This was my dream ever since I was little, and it actually came true. I became famous after the competition and right now I’m one of the most famous singers in the world! But all I could remember, was when I was little and my mom would always say “I love you my little star”.
