It had been three days since Vincent had adopted his new pet. His friend Jinseo had been persistent on him getting a pet when he finally found a bunny of his choice. These three days had turned out pretty normal and Vincent was quite happy with how his bunny behaved. Whenever he told it to do something, it did, almost as if it was someone who understood what Vincent was saying.
The third day was when he had to go to work after a week vacation Vincent wasn't ready to leave his bun alone. But, his company had strict policies against the employees bringing a pet. So half heartedly, Vincent left his little bunny with ample food and water and a cozy bed made out of his old clothes.
Before leaving, Vincent made a mental note of buying a small house for his bun after work today. Kissing the bunny on his face and it's small lips and after caressing it for quite a long time, Vincent locked the door and left for work.
The day been quite hectic and he was tired. Nevertheless he didn't forget to buy a little house for his bun. While paying he noticed a small photo in his wallet. It was of a person whom he yearned for. It was of a person whom he would love to have back in his life. But alas, that person was gone. Shaking his head and dismissing his thoughts, Vincent went back home with a smile on his face.
Opening the door he found the house eerily quite. His house has been quite since that person has left. Though this wasn't the house they shared their memories with, still this didn't feel home. Giving a humorless sarcastic chuckle to himself he placed the small house for his bun near the water and food he left behind in the morning and went inside to find his bunny. Vincent cooed at the sight of the white bunny sleeping in the top of his pillow. He slowly went near the bunny and picked it up on his hands.
Vincent didn't even notice when the bunny had woken up and started to stare at him with his doe eyes. He pecked on the bunnys forehead, when he caught it staring at him. Looking at the bunnys face Vincent didn't know why but he remembered /that person/ once again. Sadness took over him as he spoke while caressing the bunnys ears.
"Do you know you resemble my Ex boyfriend too much."
"So much, that I once again wish to go back to him and ask him to cancel his engagement to be mine again."
"It hurts so much. I was devastated when his parents once came to me and asked me to leave because they told he had a fiance already." *sighes* "I wish didn't leave him. He was my everything. He still is." He held his emotions in his eyes while remembering the face of his love.
Soon enough Vincent's eyes widened when he saw his little bunny turning to his ex boyfriend in a second.
"W-what?!" He stood there shocked looking at the face which he thought would only appear in his dreams.
"So this is why you left me?" Juan started at Vincent as they both felt their eyes turning moist.
"Why didn't you confront me Vincent? Do you know what /I/ had been through when I found out that you left suddenly just after i broke my engagement to be with you?" Vincent stared wide eyed at Juan, speechless. If seeing his bunny transforming into his ex boyfriend wasn't shocking enough, then the sentence spoken by him was enough of a shock to Vincent.
"But your parents told me you accepted it!" Vincent tried to justify himself, when he himself knew it very well that he should have talked to Juan before taking such a step as shifting and breaking up without meeting.
"Of course they would say that because they wanted me to marry their best friends son you dumbo!" Juan looked at Vincent at stood quietly for quite some time waiting for Vincent to speak.
Vincent didn't know what to say. It had been two years since the day he last saw Juan. And all he wanted to do was to hug him tight and say how much he loved him and how he still wanted him back. But Vincent didn't know if he still had that right.
"Do you still love me?" Vincent finally spoke waiting for the answer as his heart thumped loudly. Because this answer could change his life for good or for worse.
Juan's eyes turned more moist as he spoke, "Do you think i would still be standing here for you to kiss me if i didn't love you and want you back?" In a second Vincent pulled Juan close and kissed him on the lips as they both had tears streaming down their faces.
"Don't you want to ask why and how i turn into a human from a bunny suddenly? Also why I hid being like this from you?"
Vincent picked Juan up on his arms as he spoke, "You're back. And that's what matters. But how did you end up at the pet shop?" Juan chuckled and put his arms around embracing him. "i didn't end up at the pet shop. I was searching for you frantically when a month back i suddenly met Jinseo and told him everything. Though he had been quite shocked after knowing what I was, he agreed to help me."
"So that is why he had nagged me to get a pet. I owe him this one. But I'm still jealous at the fact that he knew your secret before me!" Juan chuckled while looking at his jealous boyfriend. But he loved this. He loved how Vincent cared about every little thing of his. Vincent was his, and he was Vincent's. Juan put his arms around his boyfriends neck and pressed his body closer to Vincent's.
Vincent immediately pulled Juan more closer feeling each other's heartbeat. It had been a long time since they did this. Finally Juan was back in Vincent arms. They missed it, they missed each other. Both had once again found their house in each other's embrace. Their home.
