- 'let's break up'
- 'but why? what's wrong?'
- 'it's... it was all a mistake... my confession, admitting that I loved you- everything was just a mistake.'
tears rolled down her cheeks as she pressed on the 'SEND' option. Turning the phone off she laid down on the bed.
She wasn't courageous enough to see the message that he would send in the next.
she sighed and thought of the memories when they were still together. She kept flipping the book of the memories that they made together and that book had no pages nor it had some shape like a real book. it had colorful memories preserved in a beautiful way. it was pleasant when she was still making that book but it becomes a venom when you are done. A data that can't be forgotten no matter what you do. You want but can't help thinking it over. Isn't it kind of a drug. Drug of memories?

She was still a student at that time. like any other girl, Violet also wanted to be loved. She wasn't tall, she had the natural reddish-brown hair and fair skin. A small mole below the left eye and when smiled the canine teeth could be seen. She may not be prettier but she was better in her own way. her bestie, Lyra had a crush. and that boy was Violet's childhood friend, Owen. He was a spoiled brat, only liked to roam around and messing with others. He was tall and had fair skin. In their first meeting after 6 years, Violet felt nervous knowing her friend, Lyra had crush on Owen. You can't really stop your heart from liking anybody right? even if he is someone your bestie likes or loves.
But the worst thing happened when he confessed his love for Violet not for Lyra.
Lyra was heartbroken. she really liked him but making a fun of her tanned skin he rejected her. Lyra was beautiful but had tanned skin. She was still beautiful. Her flawless skin was the thing that made her precious. She blamed Violet deep inside but never actually expressed.
Violet and Owen talked to each other via sending messages. They met and gifted each other on the days of each other's birthdays. Violet didn't even realize when she fell in love.
The girl who was seemed to be shy and introvert typed, who knew even she could confess her love for him. They dated. Everything was fine until Violet's father became ill. She was the eldest daughter. she had to give up her love. she failed in several tests. she doubted if this relationship was the reason she had been failing...
Breakup, that's the only solution. For her family she had to become tough minded. but she didn't know she was actually becoming more and more soft in deep inside. She was like a snail. hard from the outside, soft in the inside.
but he didn't leave her. he knew she still loved him. When she was heartbroken in the news of her father's death, he looked for her and hugging her from the behind, he whispered in her ears, "Don't worry, I'm still here My Pretty Princess."
