I was 12 years old year was 1776, i was just an orphan and didn't have a place to stay so the only way I could live is by stealing. As i was walking in a street in the middle of the night a drunk was sleeping soundly in a pile of trash so as any robber would do i robbed him, his clothes were torn he looks beaten and it looks like he had 4 bottles of beer. I was quietly sneaking up to him, i checked his pockets and almost got caught because he sneezed at my face. In his pockets i found 5 bronze coins which would be enough for a piece of bread.

Before anyone sees me i left immediately and left the city through the gate, there is a forest nearby but there are no dangerous monsters and animals so in a nearby tree bearing apples i lied down there looking up the starry sky thinking "wonder how my mom and dad are..."

I woke up with a loud noise nearby, a boar charging itself in random directions, then he looked at me and charged at me which made me start to climb the tree. Before i could climb a branch the boar hit the tree, thankfully it didn't hit me but it did tore up my shorts a bit then he changed directions and charged at the left side and it was not seen ever again. Once i made sure nothing around me will harm me i decided to sleep but then a big purple light came and went so in search of treasure i followed this light but it was faster than even an adult person can run but thankfully the light was so bright i can know its location. The purple light stopped moving and it was a few hundred meters away, and when i was near i saw something nearby. There were cuts on trees resembling a cut from a sword and it was just made because i can see the bark fell not a long time ago.

I walked to the purple light and i could see a person dressed in an amazingly designed armor with a Cape and a sword that flames purple but he was kneeling... and in front of him a demon in all black armor and a burned looking crooked sword who looked at me then the guy took the chance and sliced his sword upward to the demons head but it only took his helmet off, it scared me the demon was... God of blades neviraga that said "how dare you insolent fool!" then he killed him by striking his chest with his sword, then the man looked at me and whispered "i transfer everything i have to you... Please... Bring peace..." then he thuds to the ground, then neviraga walked towards me and said "now to silence you" anything i pleaded didn't work so instead i tried to run but the moment i turned around i saw my body... It was headless and then i was staked at a tree branch right at the mouth. It was dark, comfortable, and warm... Wait why is it warm?

*time skip to 8 years*

My name now is skyler, instead of Being a male i am female, it has been 1000 years since my last life but i am 8 years old now but my mentality is the same. The martial arts and magic spells have degraded due to magic towers collapsing, wars, forgotten spells, and improvised spells that have weaker results. What is weird is that the powers of the person who said he transferred his powers must've been real and this was it, what's weirder was i remember his journey, martial arts, custom spells etc. and most importantly his ways on significantly improving his mana capacity which is significantly better than other ways.

I live with my father named ariss who doesn't mind me training rather than being a feminine person, i have 3 siblings, one boy and two girls. The boy is named uther 18 years old and is the eldest, he is a magician at a magic tower in avis city here in the Kingdom nava. The two girls are twins that are 16 years old they are named shiena and shiana, they work as doctors in kyda City and are well known for their superior knowledge of medicine. As for my mother... Well... She died giving birth to me... I never did see her face...

I trained everyday from age 3 until now and i am extremely sure i can beat an imperial knight in close combat and first-class magician in magic even though I'm only 8. I made a few custom skills and spells, using a great sword i can swing 3 times in a second but I'm only holding a wooden great sword since I'm only a child but with a real sword i might.

I now know what the period feels like and my ****** is getting bigger which hurts like hell!!!

*1 year later*

A war occurred and our home and town was involved, we are at war with the lihinirin empire. We are moving to the capital and buy a mansion in the capital with guards and servants due to my father's statues as a baron.

It is my birthday today and my whole family came to celebrate it my brother gave me a magic book that increases my magic power when casting spells and in the market this thing costs more than the mansion so I'm grateful even though its useless to me. Then my two sisters gave me a drug they made that massively increased my eyesight, i was very thankful for my family and i didnt want to lose any of them.

I am old enough to become an adventurer to improve my skills further, because real life combat is better than fictional combat. My father bought me a starter set, a silver sword, and chain mail.

It's time to visit the adventurers guild

I'm at the adventurers guild and all i need is be 14 above because as long as your willing to work at the adventurers guild your an adventurer, i immediately became an adventurer since I'm willing, every adventure starts at A level then they can move their way up to Z level. There are many missions available, i could easily do a Z level task but i can't show my powers now, the gods only watch at the adventures of people and war. There is a task to hunt rabbits, rat exterminations, and more. The hardest one in my level is joining a goblin subjugation and there are about a hundred goblins there but I'm sure the Gods will be watching so instead there is a ruin exploration just found in some mountains nearby and when i checked the map... The ruins were the town in my previous life and i can tell that they are after the magic tower there. I heard from history that a demon horde invaded and destroyed the town and I'm guessing it was because of me.

The exploration will happen 2 days from now so for now i will do basic tasks, i hunted rabbits, exterminated rats, got humiliated because I'm doing these things, and killed a rat King the size of a foot but the deadlyness is its hundred rat army. Which can destroy a village in a matter of weeks, but i stopped it by using a poison cloud spell then reported it which immediately turned me into a B level and then i hunted boars, helped people, and guarded areas.

Today is the day to go on the expedition, i am going along with an H level to lead along with a few E levels and A levels. It will take a few days to reach the town, as we walked there we passed bye goblins, ghouls, orcs, ogres, and even neglajins. Neglajins are ghoul orc hybrid, they have 4 arms, fast, attacks fast, wielding axes and swords what's annoying is that they are as small as goblins. Then we arrived at the ruins, the area was burned with skeletons everywhere, the magic Tower looks like it fought a good fight but couldn't do anything. I red from history that about 23 demons got killed by humans but I'm sure that they were only pawns rather than gods...

Everyone searched everywhere to find and artifacts or anything good at all actually. I came past the tavern i last stole nearby from the drunkard, and i could see his skeleton corpse with clothes on. Our search was interrupted by a shaking in the ground, suddenly a group of skeletons cornered each one of us by 1-3. The B levels are having trouble keeping up and the A levels seem to can only kill one and die and the H and E levels beat the skeletons easily and rescued the remaining A levels while me and the other B levels fought back and forth until help arrived.

After a few minutes of fighting we have won with small casualties, then i suspected something. Is it a coincidence that skeletons appeared when we tried to search the area? Then a demon appeared, it was a demonised human and unlike the actual demons they are far weaker. The demon has a full body dark silver armor wielding an axe.

We surrounded him but before any of us could react he already appeared beside the A levels and killed them in one swing. We don't have any magicians since its only an A-J level task. Then suddenly appeared the H level expedition leader and cut off his head immediately and he did the same to the E levels. His movements are simple which gave me the opportunity just in case he appeared behind me. But suddenly he appeared pretty far from us and i saw from a distance that several other demons appeared but all of them human... Could it be possible... The people of the town... Are our enemies...

Hundreds of corpses are missing i thought they became earth food turns out they became monsters. Due to fear everyone retreated, except for me that is, the group of demons first attacked. Three in the air from different directions simultaneously attacked another to the front and the last one to the back which is a total of 5 demons and it seems the other demons are chasing the others.

And to defend against these 5 i quickly turned around and chop off the demon's head but it was tough so i used flame to burn which made hi scream in agony. Then i stabbed his forehead killing him, then to stop the four from charging i waited and at the right moment i casted an extreme holy barrier which cut the three demons in air heads off.

But it costed me most of my mana then the one charging at me did continuous side rolls to make projectiles harder to hit him, and he was one meter away so his next roll i casted hole. He rolled in the right direction head first, and it seems he is stuck in the hole while his butt is sticking out so to help him feel intense pain i shoved my sword right up his *** and i heard a muffled female voice "yamete kudasai!" ah sh-

*bleep*

I left immediately and ran back to the adventurers guild holding for dear life. The reason why people have only killed 23 demons is because they can come back to life unless you use holy water on their corpses or holy magic but holy magic users can only be found in one in a million that's why demons target these things first so thank these idiots for not knowing.

After i was near the capital city i saw fro a distance that the capital was being undersieged by demons. Screw my life if my family that i long wanted died i won't ever forgive myself, but i need a plan the enemies are using siege weapons like catapults and trebuchets and the horses they ride seem to be only normal horses and their archers are the nearest to me which is that they are in the back rows.

All of them are demonised humans but the commander is a god so i need to stay hidden. In a tent nearby the forest must have weapons but is guarded with 2 guards and what's more there are other guards nearby so i can't kill them so i have to make a distraction.

I'm in a tree and i need to make a distraction somehow and i need to get out fast. Either that or cut tent from another side so i just cut the tent from the other side of the tent.

I made a small hole to look inside the to see if there are any demons inside and thankfully there are none. I slowly cut the tent to make minimal noise and inside there are a lot of demonised weapons so i purified them all a bit so they can't touch even touch the weapons, then i took a bow, two bags of arrows, a couple of daggers, and a hood that's lying around.

I cut some parts of the tent to make a mask and purified the mask then i casted holy on all my weapons. Then i went back to the battlefield, the capital is going to fall if i don't help so i drew my bow and a couple of arrows and strung my bow and before i shot them i casted quietly "explosive fire" which made two trebuchets explode on fire and kill nearby demons since it is also affected with holy.

Then i changed position and again shot 2 trebuchets then the last trebuchet i destroyed, the catapults are too far away which will make my explosive fire hinder effect. So i shot arrows with explosive fire against archers while I'm jumping between tree to tree killing about 300 then hundreds of demons are searching the trees for me so instead they burned the trees down and causing forest fire but instead of it trying to kill me it will kill them because on the fire he used i casted potent holy in it along with unending. Which costed me all my mana and even reduced my mana cap by 50% but it was worth it because due to the flames and smoke from the fire most of the demons are melting actually and their blood stinks as hell and the army is retreating so now i can rest today knowing that... The battle had been won.

I'm 16 now, my adventurer rank is ZZ which means I'm the best of the best which to be honest i only got because i killed several demons but the adventurers guild only think i only killed 2 but i still got it even an insignia and title called the demon slayer and my own private meeting room in the guild which i decorated with swords and treasures i own since its very well guarded. The guards are Q levels although a Q level can beat a troll but will sustain some injuries but its enough to keep intruders away.

I retired from adventure work for a while and i got a huge goodbye party that the guild reserved the best tavern in the city for a day. Thankfully all the adventurers kept about me being a demon slayer secret and no one else except probably their family know that I'm demon slayer. The other people think it was a god level holy Knight that was along the expedition, since a holy Knight is 1/5 weaker than demonised humans, so they thought it was a god level holy Knight.

The gods however don't know who i am, meaning that the hood has an enchantment so i put it in a chest and hid it under the adventurers guild by using magic so even the gods won't know where it is. After the goodbye party i went home and slept for the night and i went downstairs and everyone in the family was there sitting in a table. My father asked me "skyler since you have stopped being an adventurer, we thought it would be best for you to go to magicians academy" well seems i can't have a break so without thinking i immediately said yes but my family continued "your brother will be a teacher there instead of being a magician in the magicians tower, and your two sisters can help you with your mana and magic power." and they finally get that i already agreed. Well i can't help but chuckle at them.

After the meeting i trained my martial arts and expanded my mana cap. Well just now seems that my mana capacity seems to be back to normal as of before. In just two years, this training is pretty damn amazing!

After a week i relaxed and just did normal girl stuff and I'm not gonna lie, I'm starting to really like buying new stuff now. The experience of excitement fills me since it was my first time shopping for random stuff and also did training and strolling around the city buying flowers (for the memory of aerith in final fantasy VII)

After i got home on the last week my father informed me about the entrance exam, it was an exam where they test out our capabilities through using spells against anti magic wooden dummies. So if we at least cast a simple spell and use it to our will we are in. The test determines what class you are in there is the strongest class 0 to the lowest which is class 10. My brother will teach at class 3 and 1 but sadly i will be aiming for class 10 sorry onii-chan.

Next month is the entrance exam so everyone has a month to prepare, i didn't prepare at all i just went to the adventurers guild to visit and i was greeted by the receptionist lin and asked "skyler! What brings you here?" then i said "relax I'm just here to admission a mission" then she said "please tell me the details, i will do my best!" i gave an A level quest of collecting herbs and mushrooms that are called "white topus, turtleneck flower, string of fate herb, pinnacle shroom, and firewind ash.

All of them are easy to get but firewind ash is a flower that if you pick it without including the stems, it will turn to ash. Hence its name, although no one knows this but the ash has more effects than flower but i need it to remain a secret.

The reward price is 30 copper coins, it didn't take long for the mission to get accepted so i left and went to a magic shop which has the moto "the customer is always right" no one really abuses this motto in fact some restaurants took this motto. Wonder why its popular, when i entered the place looked like it had everything since it was gigantic even though the shop was small. The shop keeper asked me "what do need madame?" then i said "do you have anything that would make me stop bleeding every month?" then the shopkeeper laughed and said "no madame, even if we did it would've already been sold out"

Then i just bought a cloak that enhances magic power and a wood staff, then i left to go to the adventurers guild and i came just in time, the people who accepted my mission came and turned in my herbs and collected the money. The way they distributed money was off, the there are 4 people, one girl, and 3 guys, the girl only got 1 copper coin while the two got 6 while the leader got 7. The girl said "i did all the work! Why did i only get one!" then the leader said "we let you come along at least you got paid" this made me angry. I remember my old days when i slept hungry and i was happy to get at least a copper coin from someone dropping a coin in front of me.

These people are unfair but i held it in but then the girl said "i have a family! This won't be enough and it's almost night time! My father is sick and cannot work and my mother is tending to him... Please!" then he just said "that's your problem" i can't help but get in between so i said "hey you three who didn't do anything! Do you seriously think you deserve the coins?" then the leader replied "piss off!" and pushed me to fall "don't meddle in us adventurers business" then everyone who knows me looked at them with dead eyes and the leader said again "we are risking our lives for people so why don't you just leave us peasant"

One guy named quin who was an H level stood up and punched the man and made him fly away through the door and said "in front of her your just rat, poisonous around and should be extinct." well said quin the leader said "who is she that is so powerful?" then quin said "someone stronger than you" then other adventurers came behind the other two guys and said "what about you two?" then they just gave their money to the girl and ran for their lives. Then i pulled myself back up and walked over to the girl and asked "what is your name?" then she said "elsa... Elsa Walt" the Walt family? I heard that they are a kind noble family but a strange non infective virus has infected one of them.

It seems that she is a magician, medicine doesn't work on the virus so she became a magician just to try and help. Then i asked her "let me help you, lead me to your home. And she said" ok... Thank you... " then she led me to a mansion in the opposite direction from our mansion and it seems to be heavily guarded everywhere. Then we went inside and entered a bedroom, inside a man lying in bed and a woman who fell asleep.

Elsa tried to wake her up but i stopped her and whispered in her ear "let her have some rest" then she agreed. Then i checked the patient, the patient has black veins, red rashes, and puffy parts in the body. His heart beat is 40 per minute and his eyes are shallow.

He has magic overturn, he practiced to much on magic per day and that's how he got this, the impurities in the body didn't get out properly and that's how the black veins and red rash happened, the puffy parts of the body must be blood cloth stopping the impurities from spreading. And his eyes are shallow due to the brain stopping function, this disease was common back in the old days all you need to do is puncture out the impurities with a needle, use telekinesis to bring out the impurities, use purify on the patient and also use heal.

Using purify on the impurities won't work since its 100% impure, so it would be a waste of mana, then i finished healing so i asked elsa "why do you need money? Aren't you a noble family?" then she replied "to be honest... All the money was spent on my tuition on ise (is-e) academy and I'm an only child" i asked "ise?" then she replied "the magic academy nearby" ohh now i see then i said "then we will be going to the same school good luck on the entrance exam!"

After the event i used the herbs to make a capacity increase potion, that increased my mana capacity a bit. And a month later it was the exam i was paired up with 3 other guys, one guy casted a fireball as big as his body, and only left a mark on the dummy but the instructor said "class 2" but he complained that he should be in class 0 which fits his royalty. Lmao what a dumb ***

The second guy casted a wind spell and made the target almost fall then the instructor said "class 4" the first guy smirked and said "pathetic try" then the 3rd guy casted a stream of water as long as his hand. Water is the weakest element due to its weak damage and effects but its because no one knows how to use it. Then the other two seem to smirk and said "don't even try either you fail or get to class 10" the 3rd guy didn't say anything but instead stayed silent and concentrated. Then he turned the stream of water into a water javelin the other two looked surprised at this, it is my first time seeing this in this age. Seems that he was trained by someone special, then he pierced the target's head and the two were shocked and said "we-we demand a retry!" but they weren't allowed to and the instructor said "class 0"

The two were furious about this and shouted out "your letting a nobody get in class 0! He has no background at all!" but the instructor said "shut up, either you shut up and be accepted or talk and get rejected" then the 2nd guy said "y-you!!!" then it is up to me well to keep it simple i just did a small fireball as big as my hand and threw it at the training dummy and it didn't leave a mark and my plan worked the instructor said "class 10" just to make it look like i gave it my all i panted a used a slow spell on myself. The two laughed their guts out saying "little girls shouldn't be here you should go back to doing whatever that is that girls do!" the third guy didn't laugh but stared at me... It wasn't a called stare... It was a state as if... He saw through me...

And so the exam was over, i passed and on the next day i was ready to go to ise academy!
