Chapter I: Wheels on the Bus
You sat outside on your mother’s red velvet chair, patiently waiting for the bus to finally come to your street.
You suddenly see a pastel pink bus come up the street. The others inside are singing.
Y/N
*Pink? Why pink, of all colors?*
You turn around to see your mother look over her shoulder, out from the window of her plant store, her face still puffy and red from her twentieth plastic surgery this year. You lock eyes for a long moment, until Mom turns around to grab a plastic snake plant. You shrug.
Y/N
*It’s not like she cared anyways.*
...Only to see rows of kids singing “Wheels on the Bus”.
Y/N
*This is the great boarding school Mom signed me up for? Really?*
Nevertheless, you walk to a seemingly peaceful row.
There are two boys fighting in the seat front of you, a stuck-up Karen the next seat over, and two others in the seat behind her.
The bus screeches to a halt. Your face slams on the leather seat in front of you, breaking your nose.
You peek at the very beginning of the bus, where a boy is being scolded by the driver.
Izuku
I-I’m really sorry, sir, I didn’t mean to do that....I was just really late-
Driver: “Late” my ***, kid! You almost crashed my bus!
Izuku
W-wait, what?! I-I’m terribly sorry, I didn’t mean to, honest!
As the driver is about to hit the young boy, you stand from your seat.
Y/N
Stop it! He said he was sorry, now let him sit!
Since you had said it kind of loudly, the driver paused. He pulled the boy’s ear and whispered.
Driver: You’re lucky I didn’t whip your ***, kid.
Driver: Okay, okay! Jesus Christ...Women around here...
The boy walks quietly over to the end of the bus. You smile and pat your seat; he notices this and turns around.
Y/N
My seat is open. Come sit.
Just as the boy is about to sit, a loud moan is heard from the seat behind the Karen. All of the kids in the back, including you, the boy and the Karen, turn around to face the origin of the sound.
A boy is f*king the girl next to him.
Izuku
(is close to shrieking)
The boy quickly sits down, head in his hands, with a mad blush.
You and the boy stay quiet for a long time, occasionally the both of you covering your ears to protect them from the...weirdness behind and across from you.
After a little while(when the two in the back were finally done with doing “it”), you decide to speak up.
Y/N
So...What’s your name?
Izuku
O-oh, I’m Izuku Midoriya.
Y/N
Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you, Izuku.
Midoriya suddenly remembers where he is.
Izuku
Sorry! I-it’s just that I’m from Japan, and we don’t usually call people by their first names unless...
Izuku
...Unless you’re family.
Izuku
I-it’s totally fine! You can call me Izuku if you want...

Okay, as long as you remember to call me Y/N.
Chapter 2: Class Fight
You and Izuku select seats, get through homeroom, and meet all your teachers.
Izuku
I haven’t had recess in a long time...
As you and Izuku laugh, a group of girls come up to you. You recognize their leader as the Karen from the bus.
Kelly
Hi there, Y/N and Izuku.
Kelly
I’m Kelly. I’m sure you’ve heard my name before.
Izuku
I heard people talk about a “Kelly” in the halls a lot. Nice to meet you, Kelly.
Yep. You were pretty sure she had a crush.
Y/N
Don’t mind me asking, but why did you come up to us?
Girl #1
What do you think?
Y/N
*Well, that was unnecessary.*
Kelly
Calm down, Char. We’re just here to talk.
Izuku
What do you want to talk-
Izuku
*Why do they want to talk to Y/N?*
Y/N
*What’s up with these girls?*
You followed Kelly to behind the school.
Y/N
Okay, what did you wanna talk about?
Kelly
You’re always with with him, he’s always with you. What’s the deal?
Y/N
We’re friends! I thought that’s what friends do.
Y/N
I said you’re a bitch.
It’s silent for a moment before Kelly gets angry.
Kelly
What did you say to me?
Y/N
I said it loud and clear, Kelly.
Kelly
Oh, you’re going to pay for that.
The next day at recess, Kelly comes up to you and Izuku yet again.
Kelly
Y/N. Can we have a moment?
Kelly comes up and whispers in your ear.
Kelly
I believe you know why.
Unfortunately, Izuku overhears this and immediately gets worried.
Izuku
*What does she mean by that?*
As you and Kelly walk away, Izuku, after making sure that none of the girls hear or see him, follows quietly.
Meanwhile, behind the school, Kelly’s group corners you up against the wall.
Y/N
I’m confused. What are you doing?
Kelly ignores you and looks at the girls.
Kelly
Operation Revenge is a go.
Izuku makes it over to behind he school, peeking over the wall. His eyes go wide with horror as he takes in the scene.
Kelly and two others from her group are slapping, scratching, and kicking your already bloody and bruised body, who of which is almost crumpled on the ground. All the girls, except Kelly, are calling you awful names while you are at the verge of tears.
You can’t say a thing until Izuku comes out of his hiding place and into the open.
Izuku
What’s going on?! What are you doing to her?!
Kelly
Taking revenge! What else?
Izuku
Taking revenge?! For what?!
The words stung Izuku’s heart and filled him with rage. Why would they do this to you just for being alive?
He didn’t want to hurt anyone, just threaten them, scare them off.
Izuku aims a Shoot Style-powered Delaware Smash right at Kelly’s head.
Izuku
You leave her alone!
Kelly pulls something out of her coat pocket. Izuku freezes.
It’s a gun. And she’s pointing it straight at your head.
Kelly
You kill me then Y/N comes with.
Girl #2
Oh, she would dare! When Kelly says something, she always means it!
Izuku releases the Delaware Smash, and Kelly pulls the trigger-
The gust of wind knocks the pistol out of the blondie’s hand. Kelly, shocked, looks over at the gun, which is broken, and Izuku takes advantage of the time she takes to look over and knocks her to the ground.
Izuku
You should’ve known that I wasn’t aiming for you, Kelly.
Girl #2
Eeek! Let’s get outta here!
Ignoring the girls running, Izuku knocks Kelly out, delivering a swift chop to her neck, then running over to you.
You have a split lip, many, many bruises and minor cuts, a major cut on your face, and a broken, bloody nose. Blood runs out from the corners of your mouth.
Izuku
You’re in terrible shape! What did they do to you?
Y/N
It’s fine, Izuku. I’m.... Okay.
Poor Izuku’ heart breaks. Still, with your breath coming out in deep pants and huffs, you are still trying to be brave.
Without thinking, Izuku embraces you in a light hug.
Izuku
*I won’t let this happen again, Y/N. I promise...*
